You layed in silence next to her and occasionally pointing out stars, your best friend in the whole wide world, Taylor Swift. It was friday night and you where spending it beneath the stars in a feild behind her yard, you guys would always run around in it, ever since you guys were little kids. You listened to the crickets sing, a comforting feeling overwhelming you, being next to her is all you ever need.
You know everything about her, just as she knows everything about you. "I dont ever wanna live without you..." You say, breaking the silence. She shot you a look, a gentle look that made your cheeks slightly red. You look back at her, moving some of her curly blonde hair off of her face. She lightly blushes.
"I have some lyrics Ive been meaning to share with you..." She says, pulling a folded sheet of paper out of her pocket.
"Lets hear it," You say, sitting up.
She clears her throat, her face as red as ever,
"I'm only up when you're not down
Don't wanna fly if you're still on the ground

Your eyes go wide in shock, "Taylor, those lyrics are amazing...!" She sits up, too.
"Do you really think so?" She says, trying to act cutesy, putting a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"Who is it about?" You ask, cocking my head to the side.
Her face goes completely red, "Its, ah, about you," She says, biting her bottom lip in nervousness, "Its totally okay if you dont want me writing a song about you in a romantic tone, I mean I completely understand, its not like we have romantic feelings for eachothe-"
"Taylor, Its fine," You interrupt "I understand. I'm totally cool with you writing a little friendship song about me!" You said, but you want it to be about anything else other than friendship, something more, something romantic
She gives you a soft smile as she jots something down on the piece of paper. "I should have a demo for it in a week or so..." She says, seeming more excited than she just was. Ypu nodded as you looked deeply into her blue eyes.
"I love the way your blue eyes shine..." You say, totally lost in her eyes, completely unaware of what your saying. She blushed harder than she just was. You layed back down on the grass, so did she.
"I could just fall asleep right now..." She says as she cuddles into you, slowly falling asleep. She goes completely silent as light snores come from her.
"I love you, Taylor," you continue "so much..." You whisper as you fall asleep, too.
A few days later, you hear a knock come from your front door, so you open. Its Taylor with a CD in hand. You squeal, knowing what it is, a demo of the song. You both run upstairs to your room, passing your mom in the kitchen. You both sit on your bed, "Now I must warn you," Taylor said while looking deeply into your eyes "Its kind of a short demo, but I think I already have a name for the song." She then put it in your CD player, the song began to play.
"And you know everything about me

You squealed in excitment, "Taylor, I love it so much !!"
She smiled and blushed, "I think its gonna be called 'Im Only Me When Im With You'"
"Eeek! I cant wait for your first album to come out!" I jumped, "Soon, the name Taylor Allison Swift will be known by all! Your face plastered literally everywhere you go! You'll be one of the most famous people in the world!" You laughed.
"Shut up, I don't even know if i'll make it big! I doubt that i'll be world famous!" She gently punches you.
"You dont know that!" You laugh, booping her nose.
You guys laugh for a minute until her face goes serious. She purses her lips, looking anywhere but at you, "Can I be honest..."
You give her a concerned look, "Yeah, of course?"
She closes her eyes, "I'm writing this song in a romantic way," She pauses for a minute, "I love you, Y/N..."
You sit in shock for a minute as Taylor awaits for your response, "I love you too, Taylor" You guys begin to kiss, kissing that turns in to making out. She wraps her arms around your waist. After a few minutes of kissing, she pulls away, smiling.
"I can't wait to do this more often..." She laughs. Truthfully, you cant wait either. The girl you've like for 6 years is finally yours.
