Stefan's confusion was palpable as he tried to make sense of the sudden rush of memories and emotions. "How? What?" he stammered, clearly overwhelmed by the flood of information.

Elias, sensing Stefan's disorientation, moved closer to him and gently held onto his arm. The reassuring touch seemed to have a calming effect on Stefan. "Sit down," Elias advised, leading Stefan to the bed where he could gather himself.

Stefan's bewilderment was evident as he continued to grapple with the revelations. "I was compelled?" he asked, seeking confirmation.

Elias nodded solemnly. "But how? Vampires can't be compelled; they do the compelling," Stefan remarked, puzzled by the contradiction.

Elias offered an explanation that shed light on the situation. "That's because you were compelled by one of the original vampires," he clarified.

Stefan nodded, absorbing the information. "So Klaus is an original?" he inquired, seeking further clarification.

Elias nodded in confirmation. "Yeah, and so was ... Rebekah," Elias added, his gaze briefly falling to the floor before returning to meet Stefan's eyes.

Stefan paused, a hint of concern in his expression, before reaching out to hold Elias's hand. "You know about Rebekah?" he asked, his grip tightening.

Elias nodded once more, indicating his awareness of the connection between Stefan and Rebekah. Stefan's reassurance came swiftly as he asserted, "She means nothing to me."

Elias let out a sigh, "It's fine. You've been around a long time; of course, you've had your fair share of people," he said with a sense of acceptance.

Stefan nodded, a look of sincerity in his eyes. "I just want you to know that she means nothing to me, not her, not Elena, not Katherine, not-"

Elias couldn't help but crack a smile at Stefan's determination to reassure him. "I know," he said, leaning closer to Stefan.

Their closeness deepened as Elias leaned in, his eyes fixed on Stefan's. "I know," Elias repeated softly, his voice filled with a sense of trust and affection. He reached out to gently caress Stefan's cheek, his touch a reassuring gesture that transcended words.

Stefan's gaze softened as he met Elias's eyes, his thumb gently tracing over Elias's hand. "You're the one I've been searching for," he whispered, his voice filled with sincerity as he leaned in, capturing Elias's lips in a tender kiss.

Their kiss was an experience unlike any other. When Elias's lips met Stefan's, an immediate, electrifying connection surged through them, sending shivers of anticipation down their spines. The softness of their lips against each other's created a perfect harmony of sensation – a blend of passion and tenderness that made their hearts race in unison.

Elias could feel the warmth of Stefan's breath, a comforting and familiar presence that drew him closer, filling him with an indescribable sense of completeness. In that moment, time seemed to cease, and the world around them faded into insignificance.

It felt as though they were sharing their very essence, their vulnerabilities and strengths laid bare before one another, a profound connection pulsed between them, leaving them both with an overwhelming sense of bliss, confirming what their souls already knew – they had found their soulmate in each other's arms.

After their soulful kiss, Elias and Stefan pulled back slightly, their eyes locking in a silent exchange that spoke volumes. The room seemed to hum with the energy of their connection, and the weight of their shared revelation settled in.

Elias couldn't help but smile, a warmth spreading across his face as he realized the depth of their bond. Stefan's gaze held a mixture of affection and gratitude, mirroring Elias's own emotions.
