Betrayal and loss

I was cheated on. I had a 2 year relationship that was going on for more than enough time. I had goals and dreams, but I should've known it was going to fall. I lost everything and now I can't fix it. I'm forced to let it collapse and melt off.
I don't understand why it had to happen like this, make me wonder if I matter.
I don't even know where to go from here, I'm free but I'm also lost.
