"That's what you get for falling for a useless mortal girl." Marlee prodded, laying on her stomach and kicking her feet in the air. There was something about that succubus that just couldn't keep Taylor away.
Marlee crinkled her noise at the thought of Taylor with the wretched mortal. Because of her, she loathed mortals. Ever since Marlee had found out about Vanna, she's wanted nothing more than to hang her by her toes and slit her throat open and bathe in her blood. Taylor had picked her after all.
"I know." Taylor snapped, his eyes glowering at Marlee for rubbing it in his face. "I get it, okay? I don't need a stupid lecture."
"Well you always have me." Marlee said as she giggled a little, rolling over on her back. She rolled up her knees and arched her back, pushing out her perky breasts. Her nipples peeked out ever so slightly off the low cut shirt she was wearing and Taylor had to force himself to pry his wandering eyes away. He fell silent for a moment before finally speaking.
"How do you do that?" Taylor asked finally, leaning forward in his chair and studying her intently. A smile formed on his lips.
"Do what?" She asked, returning his smile and rolling over on her side to give him her full attention.
"Be so beautiful." Taylor said, the smile never leaving his lips.
"Never thought about it before. I guess I'm just me." She said, blush rising to her cheeks because of her stupid answer.
Marlee's mother was a succubus and her father was a vampire; both are flawless creatures, but there was something different about Marlee. She was the epitome of perfect. The only problem was that her parents hated her very existence because she had never went through with her "arranged" wedding to the prince of darkness himself, Kyler Towler.
Taylor's brother.
She had confessed her love for Taylor to Kyler before fleeing to the human world. Kyler was absolutely furious.
Kyler inched closer to Marlee on the couch before trailing sloppy kisses up her arm. She had a slightly disgusted look on her face as she pulled her arm back and sighed heavily. She got up from the couch and paced around a little, which made Kyler start to feel a little worried.
"What's wrong babe?" Kyler asked, his eyes watching her intently as she paced back and forth. "If it's because of the wedding being in a few days, don't worry. Everything will be perfect."
"No." She simply stated, refusing to look him in the eye. A pit dropped in Kyler's stomach.
