Marlee stripped down to nothing but her underwear and an oversized t-shirt. She collapsed onto the bed that was given to her and laid thoughtfully on her stomach. The room that she was being held in limited her powers greatly. She scowled in the darkness, cursing Kyler with her mind. She kicked her legs in the air and yawned, rolling over onto her back and feeling the light breeze from the fan brush her soft skin.

A noise outside her window startled her, and she quickly padded over to it. She pulled back the heavy drapes, startled as the painted face of Euronymous looked back at her. She frowned at him, before opening the window.

"Euronymous, what are you doing here!" She whisper yelled, stepping away from the window so he could enter. His eyes travelled down to her thighs, and he licked his lips lustfully.

"Getting you out of here." He answers, lazily getting comfortable on the window ledge. "And for fucks sake, woman, put some pants on. I am a demonic entity of lust, you know."

Marlee blushed deeply before fishing a pair of spandex shorts out of the dresser. She looked back at Euronymous, who was brushing his extremely long black hair out of his pale, almost white, blue eyes.

"How did you find me?" She finally asked, pulling a large maroon sweatshirt over her head that said hype on it in white cursive letters.

"My dear I am the best tracker in all of this realm, I can find anyone." Euronymous cockily states, staring into her seafoam coloured eyes. "I am also one of the most dangerous."

"Oh, can it, Euri." She cooed, shoving some money into the waistband of her shorts and meandering towards Euronymous, who still perched lazily on the window sill. Lust clouded his eyes, but he did not act on his impulses for Nash's sake.

Marlee leaned back into Euronymous's chest, the scent of patchouli filling his nostrils. He wrapped his arms around her chest before leaning back out the window, the two in free fall for a second before Euronymous's wings sprouted from his back. He flew silently through the clouds as to not be seen by anyone. Once they were a safe enough distance away, Euronymous had avapporated them to his house in Ember, immediately ushering her inside.

"You cannot be seen here." He said sternly, his eyes boring into hers. "I don't need Kyler or any of his faggotry starting some bullshit with me."

"Why did you save me then?" She breathed, sitting on the arm of his favorite chair.

"Because I was paid to, obviously." He answered her simply, plopping down on the sofa and lighting up a cigarette. She cringed at that. "It was Nash, by the way."

Her face brightened at that. She reached over and wrapped her arms around him, to which he scowled. He wasn't used to being hugged by anyone, let alone a beautiful woman like Marlee.

"Thank you." She said, before moving away. Euronymous looked at her in wonder, ashing his cigarette into the ash tray.

"You're welcome?" He said in a questioning manner. Her kindness not only stunned him, but was deeply puzzling as well. He had never met a vampire that actually had a heart of gold before. They were usually selfish and very cold creatures; none of which could ever be used to describe Marlee.

Her sister Winnie, however, was another story. Euronymous and Winnie had hooked up a few times, but she was cold and almost unfeeling. He wondered how the apple could fall so far from the tree. That whole family was known for their coldness, and yet Marlee had still blossomed beyond that.

"Euri?" Marlee's questioning voice brought him out of thought.

"Huh?" He asked, looking around confused. His cigarette had burned down to the filter and had long since gone out. It took him a second to snap back to reality. "Oh —oh yes! Nash."

"Is he okay?" Marlee asked, a look of worry passing through her eyes.

"He's fine. A little stressed maybe, but fine, nonetheless." He confirmed, gaining a look of relief from Marlee. Euronymous cleared his throat and scratched the back of his neck. "How's Winnie?"

Marlee scoffed.

"It's over, Euri." She coughed, crossing her legs, a scowl dotting her perfect features.

"I know." He remarked, rolling his eyes. As if he wanted to get back into a relationship with that wretched, bitter, woman. "I was just wondering how she was doing."

"She's fine, I guess. She's the only one who still stays in contact with me." She says, pursing her lips.

A hastey knock on the door interrupted their conversation. Euronymous grunted as he got up from his seat on the couch and sauntered over to the door, checking the peep hole before opening it.

"It's me, you dipthong." Nash's voice rang from the other side, causing Marlee to break out into a smile.

"NASHIE!" she called out, skipping over to the door as Euronymous opened it. He chuckled as they embraced each other.

"I'll just leave you two lovebirds alone." He says, shutting the door and going back into the sitting room. Nash picked up Marlee and spun her around before planting a kiss on her lips.

"Are you okay? Did Kyler hurt you?" Nash asked, looking concerned.
