Sighing as I wait for the elevator doors to open, I close my eyes- mentally preparing to pretend like I'm fine.
Ding
I open my eyes and plaster on my best smile, trying to get ready to work. As the elevator doors open, I lock eyes with Spencer. "H-hey, Spence...!" I say awkwardly, mentally kicking myself for it.
"Good morning- oh, uhm I was uh... I was hoping we could talk. Of course if you're ready but... we're all worried, y/n"

I stand there awkwardly, I mean- I understand why he's worried, but like- this is such an uncomfortable situation???

"...uhm... s-sure.. I guess.." I step into the elevator and curse at myself for being so obvious.

We both stand there, staring straight at the door, In in heavy air. Neither of us chose to speak, and I thanked whatever god there is for it.

The rest of the day was awkward with me and Spence, but I tried to ignore his obvious staring and everyone's nervous glances.

It's nearly noon and I lean back in my chair, stretching then releasing a heavy sigh from the relief. I get up to refill my cup of coffee, my third today.

As I stand up, my vision gets fuzzy then black, a ringing in my ears and I lose balance momentarily. I would be surprised, if I didn't know why it happened. I'm relatively used to it now, not bothered much by it, other than the fact it brings on a massive headache.

I grab into my desk, careful not to make a big deal out of it and hoping nobody notices. Finally, my vision comes back and the only remnants of it is the headache.
I shake my head quickly and continue my journey to the kitchen, pouring myself another cup of now warm coffee, unlike the usual burning hot cups everyone loves.
Pouring the creamer in, I jump at the sudden voice in my ear, I whip my head around and Instant relief floods my system as I see Morgan standing behind me, giving an uncharacteristically small smile. I give a small one back, turning around to finish pouring my cup and cleaning up the small mess I made.
"You okay, baby girl?" He pauses, giving me time to respond. "Yeah, I'm okay," I say softly, my headache finally starting to subside. "You sure? ...everyone's worried y/n.." he gives a concerned look, and puts his large hand on my shoulder softly. I watch my hands clean up the spilled coffee slowly so I can avoid awkward eye contact. I respond without looking at my friend. "I swear I'm good, Morgan-" I say with a small smile, hoping he takes the answer.

He lets out a soft sigh. "Okay, but you need anything— I mean anything— you call me, okay? I'm here for you. No mater what, you know that?" He pats both my upper arms at the same time, roughly in order to make me laugh. I giggle in response, "okay, okay, I promise!"

Spencer:

Finally, hotch calls us to the round table. We all walk in one at a time, everyone taking their seat quietly. Garcia steps in front of the table, starting to tell us what the case is, what we know, and any other information.

"Jet in 30." Hotch says quickly as he heads to his office. Everyone gets up, Garcia pulling y/n to the side. I leave, not wanting to accidentally ease drop, and grab my bag as well as y/n's. After a few minutes, they both come out. I lock eyes with y/n, and she walks over to me to grab her bag.

"...do you want to talk now? I mean we still have time until we have to leave, so..." I hand her her bag, and she takes a minute to respond.

"Actually... I'd uh.. I'd like that.." barely over a whisper.
"O-okay..!" I grab her hand gently and lead her to a private area of the building.

"...are you okay? I mean obviously you're not okay- but I wanted to ask anyways just in case I misread the signs- a-and maybe you wouldn't like it if I just assumed, so-" I subconsciously start to rant, speaking so fast I can barely say the words correctly. I catch myself, stopping and taking a breath. "...do you wanna talk about it..? Whatever it is..?"
They take a sharp breath, and I can tell from their face just how much they're going through. "I uh... it's.. a lot..." I can barely hear her, so I lean down just slightly. "What is?" I look her in her eyes and she looks away, nervous. I've never seen her nervous—other than the first two weeks or so when she first started working with us—so I try to calm her down. "It's okay, you can trust me. I'm here for you,"
