➾ wiseacre's wizarding

ROSALYN BLACK WALKED down the street of Diagon Alley with her aunt Andromeda, they were heading to Wiseacre's Wizarding Equipment, the school assigned new books and that was the only place where everyone else goes.

"Rosalyn, isn't that your friend there?" Andromeda asked, nudging her head towards the hairy-bushed girl. Rosalyn scanned through the crowd and found Hermione through the heads of people.

"...yeah, I guess." Rosalyn mumbles, even after a year of knowing the young witch, Rosalyn had trouble excepting Harry, Ron and Hermione as her friends, she's never had friends and never knew how to act, or if she needed to be herself around them.

"Come on, right this way." Andromeda said softly leaning them through the crowd. "Oh! Mrs. Weasley, how are you?" The taller woman smiled brightly.

Molly Weasley smiled up at the woman. "Andy, oh how lovely to see you again, you really should stop by more often." Andromeda smiled with a slightly chuckle.

"I know, I know, Molly, believe me, I've been trying to." Andromeda says exhaling lowly, clutching Rosalyn's books to her chest. "I just— it's one hectic year, and I know it's no excuse."

Molly smiled gently at her ranting. Andromeda smiled pausing in her words. "Im sorry, im ranting, I'll try, okay? If not, I'll allow you to drag me up there, promise."

"Alright, your words, not mine." Molly exclaimed pointing a finger. Rosalyn peeked through the two woman, where Hermione spotted her with a graceful smile.

"Rosalyn!" Hermione practically pushed through the crowed until she reached the dark haired girl, she opened her arms to greet her with a hug, Rosalyn in a reflect stepped back. Hermione smile sadly. "Right, forget about the no hug rule, a high-five?"

Rosalyn nodded smacking her hand against the muggle. "Sorry about— the... no hugs, thing." The girl spoke softly, Hermione shook her head, shrugging her shoulders. "That's okay, but it's something I have to get use to, we both do."

"Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Gilderoy Lockhart."

Rosalyn nodded goodbye to Hermione before approaching her aunt, everyone clapped for the man in the cloak, he waltzed out from the back, a beaming smile that had everyone falling to their knees for him. "Mum fancies him." Ron tells Harry, rolling his eyes.

Molly scoffed smacking his shoulder. Rosalyn stood by her aunt, examining the man up and down, finding absolutely nothing interesting about him. "Make way there, please! Let me by, madam, thank you. This is the daily prophet."
