-Raeden's POV-

I was running, my legs carrying me as fast as I could go. Electricity pulsing through my veins as stray sparks shot from my golden fur. I wasn't very good at controlling my temper especially after witnessing one of my dads episodes. The Vampire king had visited my uncles and one of the lower ranking werewolves had insulted his mate. The vampire king had lashed out and in doing so my dad had started convulsing and lashing out with electricity thinking he was in danger. Growling I hated that his species had made my dad suffer like that.

"You would have defended your mate too, you can't blame the king" My wolf Zap chastised shocking my mind into focus.

"But he knew to behave himself around the royal family given dads history" I challenged.

"You know as well as I that he wouldn't have been able to resist his instincts, much like yours which have called this storm" She argued.

Realistically I knew she was right but the storm in my mind and heart still raged. Growling out my rage as storm clouds gathered above me. The boom of thunder my only warning as lighting struck my form, the rare energy would hurt anyone else. To me it was a super charge melding with my own inner storm. The raw power making me feel almost invincible. I could take on any vampire like this. My wolf clawed at my mind as I let myself get lost in the electricity.

"Go back, Go back, not our territory"

My wolf's words were drowned out as I barrelled through a large tree, scorching the wood as another bolt of lighting hit my form. Roaring out my challenge to the sky, My throat burned as I released my stored energy, my electrical breath reminiscent of my dragon ancestry. After which I kept running not really caring as my wolf became quite in my mind. A scent on the wind caught my attention. Vampire.

Along with the scent my memories of my dad's torment surfaced, his panic attacks, his night terrors, the scars that would never heal. The way that even as a Princess' mate he sometimes let lower ranking pack members walk over of him because he didn't feel worthy. The vampires did that to him and they had to pay, if I needed to start with one then I would.

Snarling I charged in the new direction the urge to fight so overwhelming that I obeyed it without thinking. It took another hour of full out sprinting to find the vampires house and when I did he greeted me at the door. My mind was too far out of it to make out specific details other than that he smelled slightly similar to the vampire king.

"Look I don't know why your here, but if you could shift and I'll invite you in for a cup of tea" He said holding his hands up in the surrender position.

Snapping my jaws at him I growled and raked the ground with my claws. I could practically feel the electricity in my pulse.

"I don't want to hurt you, shift or turn back" the vampire warned.

"SHIFT" Zap snarled at me in our shared mind.

I couldn't hear either of them as I let myself get hit by lightning a final time by the storm I had caused in my upset. Snarling out I shook my head holding my head and tail high in a dominant posture. I watched as the vampire walked away from his house and stood to face me in the clearing.

"I don't think you can hear words can you" He asked again.

I snarled and let loose my charged electricity. While he was dodging my breath weapon I charged, open jawed and ready to bite. I had to twist my body away as he dodged my attack, slamming into another thick tree. whining in pain I stood and charged again. As he dodged I let out my secret weapon a pulse of electricity that came from everyone of my fur follicles. His scream of pain told me it was a direct hit as I wheeled around to face him again.

Charging again I hunkered low aiming for his legs only to yelp in surprise as his fist collided with my snout. Skidding backwards in the dirt I remained standing and snarled my defiance.

"Oh no, Are you okay! I didn't mean to hit that hard" the vampire shouted over the thunder and lightning.

My ears were ringing with the sound of the storm and my body felt heavy and soaked as rain pelted my body. Sneezing I reared up in another charge tasting the blood from my nose in my mouth as I snarled again. It was probably broken but I gave no mind to the pain. My mind was too clouded with bloodlust. Running into him I managed to catch his arm in my jaws growling as I added my electricity to the bite. It felt like I was biting into steal as he flexed his arm.

"That's it pour it all into me" He cooed as he held me still.

Growling I continued to try to electrocute him and when he didn't seem to be suffering I tried to pull away to try something else but found I couldn't move. Struggling to free myself from his grip I felt my body and mind cool as he kept siphoning my electricity. It felt wrong, my body felt calm and the buzz in my veins stopped. Still he kept absorbing until I didn't even have a flicker of energy left to fight.

"That's it, good girl" He praised, hand still tangled in my fur as my grip had loosened a long time ago.

I gave one last pitiful growl before I fell forward exhausted. I tried to protest when my body shifted back to my human form but I didn't have the energy to shift back.

"That's it, rest, I'll take care of you princess"
