I woke up in some bedroom which I don't know. I turned to another side and saw Charles laying next to me looking at his phone. "Lia, you are awake." He said with a smile. "Yeah, why I am here? What happened? I asked and tried to get up really fast from his bad. "Lia, don't do...it, are you okay?" Charles said and immediately ran to me. "You are so weak after that pills they gave you in the hospital, you can't walk alone." "Oh, so why I'm not at my parents house and they aren't taking care of me?" I asked because I had no idea what was going on. "They had some trip where they needed to go, so I told them that i would take care of you." He said as he laid me back to the bed. "Perfect, and what about my brother?" Tim was my last chance to not be at Charles's. "He is in Paris, so nope he can't take care of you." He said and gave me some water. "I want to sleep, in private so can you go?" I told him because I needed to process this.
Few hours later I woke up and replayed everything what happened. He was so nice to me even when I was so rude to him. I need to apologize. I tried to get up from the bed, my head was still spinning a bit but I could walk somehow. "Hey Char, I'm sorry how I act before." "It's okay, don't worry." He said but didn't even look at me. "Charles, why can't you even look at me when I'm trying to apologize to you?" I asked but didn't get any response. "Charles? Hello?" I asked again. "It's nothing, don't worry about me." He said. "No, you worried about me as well so now I worry about you." I said and shaked my head to him turn around. He turned around and I saw his cheek and lips bleeding. "Char, what happened?" I asked him. "It's nothing.." "Tell me what happened Charles!" "Some guy at the bar put your something in your drink yesterday, so I went there to describe him how things are." Charles answered. "What? Who was it?" I asked because it scared me. "You don't need to worry about it, it was some stranger." "Thank you Charles." I said and gave him a kiss on his cheek. "Auch, not there today please, it hurts there." Charles said because I kissed him on his hurt side of face. "I'm soo sorry Char." I apologized. "It's okay, don't worry love." "Now we need to take care of that wound, so where do you have any disinfection?" I felt so much better now so I needed to take care about him as well. "It's in the bathroom, I will bring it." "Okay, bring in to the living room I said and sat the the sofa.
The wound didn't look extra deep so I don't think it needs sewing. I disinfected it and gave him special plaster on it. "It's done" I said and put all stuff back to the box. "Thanks love" "No problem Char" "Are you hungry?" Charles asked. "Oh, I don't even know what time is it" "It's 10am, so do you want me to go get something for you? It's new bakery downtown so if you want I can go there." "You don't have to Char" "I want, so is chocolate croissant still you favorite?" He asked with his adorable smile. "Aw, yes! I haven't eat it since I was here last year." "Give me 20 minutes." He said and took his car keys. "Okay, should I make you coffee or something?" "I'm going to bring it too."
Charles forgot his phone at home and someone was still calling him, like million times. I didn't want to be sneaky so I didn't care about it. But after 10 minutes when the same person was still calling him a took a look who is it. It said "Eli" but nothing else, any picture, nothing. "Lia, I'm back!" Changed shouted from the door way. "Yayy, did they have my chocolate croissant?" "Ofc, they had it." Char responded and gave me a kiss. We sat to the terrace and started eating our perfect breakfast. "Oh, I forgot, someone was calling you like 15 minutes in a row." "What? Who was it?" He said and ran for his phone. "I don't know, some Eli." "Yeah Eli, I'm sorry Lia but I need to go. I will be back in few hours." "Okay." I said because what else I could say.
CHARLES'S POV
Oh no, she shouldn't have seen it. What should I do now? I have no idea what to do now. I didn't know if she will ever come back and rumors about my situationship was terrible so I found this girl, Elizabeth. For me it's nothing real but sometimes we go out for dinner so people see us together. And we weren't seen long time, that's probably why was she calling me. But why she called me so many times, I need to call her back. I went to the garage so Lia won't hear this phone call. "Charles?" "Hey El, what's going on?" "Charlie, my grandma is dying and I need you here please." "Eli, I'm sorry but we are not in real relationship, you have your boyfriend." "No, not anymore." "Okay, where are you?" "In Saint Sisters Hospital" "Fine, I'm coming." "Oh sorry, I'm completely confused now, she is at my apartment." "Why isn't she in the hospital?" "The doctor is here as well." "Fine, I'll be there is 20." "Thank you Charlie."
This was weird, I will go there but no one can see me because of Lia. When I finally have her, I can't lose her. "I'm here, open the door please." "Opening" I went upstairs but it was weird no one was there, grandma wasn't even there. "Hey pretty boy." El said. "Elizabeth, what's going on? Where is your grandmother?" "I don't know, she is dead for 5 years." "I'm sorry but why I am here then?" I asked and she pointed to her bedroom. "Oh no, no I need to go." "No Charles, please no." "I don't wanna do this, you lied to me, it's over even if we weren't real dating." "Okay, let me accompany you." "Fine." We went down by elevator but when I get to my car she gave me a kiss to a cheek. At this moment i saw cameraman in the bush. "Fuck! No!" I ran to him but he was already away.
