Nick looked deeply into Zach's eyes. He knew who he was, but Zach told him he didn't want people to know about their friendship.
Zach looked at Nick then at the people behind him. "Oh, uhm I'm sorry. This is pretty awkward." He finally blurted out.
"Uh.." Nick stammered. "It's okay man." Matt shrugged, smiling at Zach. "Heh.. uhm.. do you guys recommend the iHop behind you?" Zach pointed at the iHop.
Chris looked back and opened his mouth to say something but was interrupted. "Yea! It's really good.. You should bring your friends.. perhaps." Nick nervously shouted out.
Zach smiled. "Sure! I'll bring my friends.. thanks. Also, love your hair. It's complements your eyes." He stuffed his hands in his pockets.
Nick slightly smiled. "Thanks.. I love your.. outfit. Complements your hair!" He had no idea what he was doing. He just said anything that came to mind.
"Thanks very much. You guys have an awesome day." He waves as he walks away, mostly looking at Nick as if he was only talking to him.
Matt raised his eyebrow as he walked away. "What just happened.." He looked over at Nick.
He shrugged. "I don't know? He complimented me, so I did as well. Nothing unusual. Let's go!" He rushed the group to a store and silently panicked. Nick pulled out his phone and immediately texted Zach.

"And he is still on his phone. Of course." Madi groans as she walks away. "Huh?" Nick looks up immediately. "We've been walking around the damn store while u stood here like a fucking idiot." Chris rolls his eyes.
Matt looks over Nicks shoulder. "What's so important that it's taking all of your attention? Your attention should be on me! Well everyone else.. but me as well." He jokingly said, trying to sound to like a spoilt brat.
Nick hides his phone. "Known of your damn business." He shoved Matt away. "Why can't you tell us?!" Nate whined.
He shrugged and smiled sarcastically.
Everyone ignored it and went on with their day. Matt was still curious, but didn't want to bother Nick.
Matt dropped off Nate and Madi, drove back to their place and relaxed for the rest of the day. "So... what do you guys wanna do? Record? Go get some snacks? Play a game?" Chris kicked his feet looking at each of his brothers.
