Wilfred turned back around to face the pond. Before he jumped back in he gave Alex stern quack. Then he hopped back in splashing Alex with water before swimming away.

With The Squirrels

Alex:
What a jerk!

Hilda:
Entitled is what he is!

Alex:
(He scoffs) Great..... (looks at his fur) now im all soaked.

Hilda:
I don't get it, why is he so persistent for these pears?

Alex:
Idk now help me dry off. (Annoyed)

Hilda:
Or you could do it yourself.

Alex:
Wow, I thought we were family.

Hilda:
It's sibling love brother, suck it up.

Tarry is sitting on a tree branch looking down at the two.

Tarry:
(Yelling) Get back up here and continue working!

Hilda & Alex:
Yes Uncle! (They said quickly)

With The Ducks

Wilfred:
(Thinking) I can't believe this, these squirrels come in and think they can take what they want, how dare they take my pears!

He swims into the raft mumbling angerly under his breath. Lily notices Wilfreds state and goes to check up on him.

Lily:
Wilfred is everything alright? (Sounding concerned)

Wilfred:
(In an annoyed tone) My pear trees are infested with squirrels.

Lily:
Squirrels? Since when where there squirrels by the pond? Maybe they just stopped by for a pear or two?

Wilfred:
I'm not sure when they came but, they carved out a huge hole in some of the trees and said they own the trees now.

Lily:
(Sounding Irritated) Excuse me, we've had these trees in our possession since we were ducklings. What gives them the right to just take it?

Wilfred:
Idk but I'm not letting them get away with my trees.

Lily:
How do you suppose we get them out of here?

Wilfred:
Hmm.......(an idea hits him) this area is frequented by humans, and humans love walking dogs.

Lily:
You're suggesting we find a dog to chase the squirrels out?

Wilfred:
Yes

Lily:
A few problems with that, one almost every dog here has a leash on, and it's unlikely their owners will lose grip on the leash. Two even if they do chase the squirrels their not capable of climbing high into a tree. Three dogs will also go after us.

Wilfred:
....(sighs)....maybe like drown them?

Lily:
Why would they willingly come to the water with an angry duck in it.

Wilfred:
We could just then uh, peck them?

Lily:
This isn't going to work.

Back to the Squirrels

The Squirrels have finished two of the five houses.

Hilda:
I'm starving.

Alex:
Same.

Hilda:
Well there's pears all around us.

Alex:
Oh yeah, and there ripe. Let's dig in!

Both the squirrels ate a pear each.

Hilda:
(Satisfied) Oh that was delicious.

Alex:
It was filling too....now I understand why Wilfred made such a big deal about these pears.

Hilda:
Wilfred?

Alex:
The duck

Hilda:
Oh.

Tarry:
Have you two been sitting here for the past hour dilly dallying? (He asks sternly)

Hilda:
We were hungry.

Tarry:
I guess we'll take a break.

Alex:
(Quietly) Yes!

Tarry:
So what was the whole ordeal with that duck again?

Alex:
He claimed to own these trees but i don't see his name anywhere.

Hilda:
Yeah, and he lives in water. Humans give them bread all the time.

Tarry:
Well not our problem.
