There was once a duck named, Wilfred. This duck loved his pear trees. Every morning he would swim across the pond to get a pear. All the other ducks knew well not to come between him and his pear trees. That was until on a Saturday afternoon a group of squirrels came into the area. Now these squirrels didn't know about this ducks love for pears and started to make their homes in the pear trees.
At the Duck Pond
Lily:
Good morning Wilfred. (She said with joy)Wilfred:
Hello Lily, how are you this morning?Lily:
I'm great, the water lily's have started to bloom.Wilfred:
That's wonderful.Lily:
So you heading to your pear trees?Wilfred:
Of course.Lily:
Can you grab me one?Wilfred:
Why of course Lily.Lily:
Thank you.Wilfred then swam over to his pear trees, once he's close to reaching the trees he notices a huge hole in one of the trees. With concern for his trees he swam quickly to check out the hole.
With The Squirrels
Hilda:
These are rather large trees, we've hit the jackpot!Alex:
I know, and these pears are ripe.Hilda:
There's also so many, and next to a really clean pond too.Tarry:
Are you two going to keep yapping or help the rest of us with making homes.Alex:
We're coming! They then spot a duck swimming over.
Hilda:
Whose that?Alex:
It appears to be a duck.Hilda:
I didn't know this was a duck pond. From the pond they hear the duck yell out.
Wilfred:
What are you doing to my trees!!?The squirrels talk amongst themselves.
Alex:
His trees?Hilda:
Ducks live in a pond, why would they need trees?Tarry:
Who cares why, ignore him and just continue making our home. Then a squirrel yells back down to the duck.
Alex:
What do you mean your tree!? We got here first!Wilfred:
No you did not! These are my pear trees!Tarry:
(Rolls his eyes)Alex:
(Climbs down the tree) Look duck.Wilfred:
Wilfred.Alex:
Look Wilfred, we got here first and you are making a scene, just go swim back to your raft.Wilfred:
(Irritated) You did not arrive here first theses are my trees. Every morning I come here and retrieve a pear, and your little scurry weren't here.Alex:
So, you don't own the trees, you live in a pond. Why do you even need the trees.Wilfred:
For the pears.Alex:
Well sorry to break it to you but these are our trees now. Meaning theses pears belong to us now. So we'd appreciate it if you'd just swam back to your raft.Wilfred:
I'm not going anywhere. (Giving the squirrel a cold stare)Alex:
(Returns the stare) We'll see about that.To Be Continued. . .
This is the first story I've written on here and I'm not sure how well it is.
