TOO LATE

Alex POV:

                              —30 minutes later—

i decided to clear my mind up a bit so i headed on over to a private party I'd been invited to by a couple of friends. Many influencer's, and artists would be attending the party, as it was being hosted by a good friend of mine.

i spray on some cologne and fixed my hair a bit as i put on a black baseball cap. i opened my car door and exited out my vehicle as i saw people passing by eagerly approaching the gate. i sigh and walk over to the tall black fence gate, and walk in greeted by the loud music and flashing lights.

"El wacho llegó!" i heard a familiar voice behind me, i turned around to be greeted by litkillah. i smile and dap him up into a side hug. "que gusto verte de nuevo güey ." i said with a big smile.
"No pensé que vos llegaría a la fiesta." he said as he walked over and stood next to me, leaning back against the wall.

"eh tenido un día muy difícil, así que decidí tomar un descanso y relajarme un poco." i answered honestly.

"bueno pa, aquí te dejó solo un rato porque necesito irme a comprar unas pizzas." He said as he got up up and patted my shoulder.

"Ahorita te veo." I said as i dapped him up and watched him leave. i left the area and made my way out to a Ramada, that had a private chef serving people.

As i walked by a girl accidentally bumped into me, causing for her to spill a bit of her glass of champagne on my jet black dress shoes.

i direct my attention to my shoes, as she gasped and covered her mouth with one of her free hands.

"I'm so sorry! Please forgive me!" she pleaded to me with an guilty and embarrassed expression.

i squinted my eyes at her as i couldn't make her face out since it was pretty dark.
she then lightly grabbed my wrist and lead me to the unisex bathrooms. As she entered with me, she immediately went to grab a towel and slightly rinsed it with water, she bent down a little and began scrubbing them.

"you don't have to really, it was my fault." i blurted out to her, as i looked down at her still trying to get an image of her face.

"No really, i should have been more alert of my surroundings." she shyly said as she finished cleaning off my shoes. she got up and finally looked up at me.

she had beautiful green eyes, a small nose, light freckles splattered all over her face, and jet black hair. she also had a nice figure too.

i looked at her for a good couple of seconds and looked away.

she sweetly smiled and extended her hand out to me, i took her hand and shook it.

"my names nicole but everyone calls me nicki." she said shaking my hand.

"my names alexis, or alex for short." I said as i held her soft hands. we both let go from our grip on each other's hands and brings our arms down.

i was left hypnotized by her presence, i couldn't take my eyes away from her.

her phone rung repeatedly, she pulled her bag over a little and unlocked it, grabbing her phone. she checked her phone and looked up to meet my eyes again. "I'm sorry, i think my friends are looking for me." she said in between a warm smile.
