As I walked through the door of my new apartment, I was hit with the smell of fresh paint. I looked to the walls, and they must have just been painted. Normal for landlords to do for new tenants.

I walked into my bedroom and saw my bed and mattress were the only things set up. "Ugh... I guess the movers only put up my bed and some kitchen things before clocking out.... such lazy men." I murmured to myself.

I put a small blanket on my bed, but soon enough, I felt eye watching me. I spun around quickly to find nothing... exsept a creepy clown doll sitting at the top shelf of my open closet. "What the..." I mutterd as I grabbed the clown.

I knew this would normally freak most people out, but... I enjoyed clowns any type. Creepy, cute, funny. I liked the unsettling feeling of them.

"Hah... who left you behind, little guy?" I said to the clown doll. "I'm so lonely. I'm talking to a doll..." I sighed as I threw the little clown onto my bed and sat, putting my hands on my face sadly.

I looked over to the clown I threw onto my bed. The clown had a classic, colorful, puffed clown outfit on with a sad expression on, though I swore it had a more cheery look before, I didn't pay much attention to that.

I stood up and started to change into my pajamas, I only had undergarments on when i realized I packed my pajamas in the other boxes that are still being shipped. I sighed and had that feeling again of being watched. I quickly turned around, only to find the clown looking at me.

"You a pervert huh? Watching a lady change?" I laughed before flopping on my bed, mostly naked not having the energy to change back into my jeans.

I soon fell asleep in that position peacefully but was Slightly awoken by a warm feeling wrapped around my body, I was only half awake but I could have sawrn seeing a shirtless man with dark drown fluffy hair cuddle me from the front. I was too tired and drifted off back into my slumber.

I awoke to knocking at my door, realizing that that man must have been all a dream. I almost opened the door when I realized I was basically naked, so I ran into my room and put on one of my ex's oversized T shirts and opened the door to a woman

"Erm, hello? Can I help you..?" I questioned.
"Hello! I'm your next-door neighbor, and I just wanted to welcome you to the building." The woman said with a sweet smile.
"Oh, thank you!" I said awkwardly since I really didn't have social skills.

"Well dear, I know you're new to the building, but... I wanted to let you know that quiet hours are after 11 pm, " the woman said.

I didn't quite know why she was telling me this because I knew I went to bed at 9 pm and I wasn't very loud. "Oh! Uhm, thank you for letting me know?" I said, kinda confused, but the woman didn't take the hint that I was confused.

"Oh, and honey, I just wanted to tell you to be careful in this area. As a young woman, you should make sure to be a where of your surroundings. There's a lot of women going missing around here.... I just wanted to let you know." The woman added.

I thanked the woman for her advice and closed my door. "Gah... that's enough social interaction for one day." I said slightly annoyed.

I hobbled my sleepy body back to my bedroom and started to unpack a few boxes. An alarm went off on my phone; job searching. "Ugh. I'm so sick of searching for dead-end jobs!"

Soon I grew tired of job searching and decided to go shopping for something to bring me joy. I pulled up to Victoria's secret and walked inside, I browsed the options and found a really sexy one.

Once I got home, I was eager to get home when I swore I saw someone in the window of my apartment looking down at me. I gasped, but when I looked again, the figure was gown. I realized I must have just been seeing things and I walked to the stairs but they were blocked off and I melt a horrid oder coming from the stairs so I just got onto the elevator but somone was on it as well.

I thanked the man for holding the door open for me and got on, I leaned down to click the number 4 button on the panel but it was already hit. "Fourth floor? Me too. You must be the new neighbor in apartment 408!" The man said.

I looked up at him a noticed his elegant dark brown hair. "O-oh! Yes, that's me-" I stopped myself a moment, realizing i just gave this stranger my address.

The man clearly took notice to my sudden stop in talking. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you nervous!" The man replied, embarrassed.

"Oh!  No y-your fine! I just dont trust you with my address- oh my god... that sounded so rude... I'm so sorry..." I said. The man chuckled, but his laugh was really charming. I looked up to him and he said: "hah... it's okay" when he said that he gave me a little smirk, and I blushed a bit before looking away. I can't believe I've caught feelings for a stranger...
