"alright everyone! gather 'round!" shouts the councillor of Head-Wood Lake camp. the campers gather around, the fire giving off a warm light in the dark of night. crickets chirp in the distance, the slight sound of rustle of branches in the wind filling the air. the chatter of the campers die down as the councillor begins to speak.
"it was a dark a stormy night," he would start. "a madman by the name of Harold Krine sits in his house atop a hill, the creak of a rocking chair fills the room."
Harold sits, a cursed look plastered on his face. the light from the fireplace fills the room as he mutters to himself. his eyes search the room, his thoughts a scattered mess. empty pill bottles scatter the small cabin, a picture of a young girl with bright hazel eyes and dark brown hair on the table beside him.
"they took her from me," he mutters, abruptly standing up. "NOW I TAKE EVERYTHING FROM THEM!" he screams, his eyes filled with a raging fire, a maniac grin on his face.
"who? why is he so pissed?" a camper shouts out.
the councillor sighs. "someone killed his daughter, DUH." a girl responds to him.
"ANYWAYS," the councillor continues, "the madman walks over to where he hangs all the animals hes hunted."
the man rips all the animals off the wall, their lifeless body's now in a pile on the floor. he then storms over to a desk a rips open the drawers, taking out needles and thread. he yanks a butcher knife off the counter and begins tearing the animals apart. one by one, dismantled parts of rabbits, squirrels, deer, and many more cover the floor, blood and guts scattered across the ground. he then begins to sew them together. one after another, the parts of the animals begin to join into one, monstrous, beast.
"the beast had the head of a bear and antlers of a deer. the torso was a mix of all the animal pelts and the legs were a combination of deer legs and bear legs." the councillor grins, watching the horrified expressions of the campers. "the man laughs like a maniac as he shocks the beast multiple times. the beast's eyes jolt open, and it stands up. the madman grins as the beast turns to him. before he knew it, the beast bites the mans head off in one clean bite. no one knows what happened to the beast, but its said to roam the forests of Head-Wood Lake." the councillor finishes, gleefully watching the campers as they squirm in fear. in the bushes crouches another councillor. as he reaches for his bear mask to jump out and scare the kids, he touches something that is pulsating and covered in blood-drenched fur.
