I looked around trying to figure out who sent me the note but everyone's eye was on the teacher and some that weren't were either sleeping or chatting with each other. I asked the girl beside me if she knew who dropped or sent the note and she said that she didn't know.

"It couldn't have fallen from heaven", I thought to myself and shoved it in my bag so that I could listen to the teacher.

"This week we will be doing a little bonding experiment with our classmates over frogs" Ms. Briggs said with a large smile in her face. No one should be that happy about dissecting a frog. That's just wrong.

The whole class burst into a groaning session.

Even I released a groan unintentionally but when the girl sitting next to me heard it she turned around with a huge smile and said, "I thought you wouldn't join our little brawl". She was taller than me and she had blonde hair. She was one of those cheerful girls.

I shrugged a little and said, "I couldn't stay out even if I wanted to".

The class was in a state of commotion and Ms. Briggs was trying to calm everyone down. That wasn't going so well go her by the way.

"I'm Stephanie but call me Stacy" she said grinning at me. Her smile was so infectious, it would have been a crime if I didn't smile back.  "I'm Jade".

We smiled and continued groaning until we noticed that the class was almost quiet we shut our traps so that the teacher would not spot us.

"Since you all clearly don't want to be grateful that your graceful school took it upon themselves to get you all frogs to do your experiment I guess you can get them yourself. By the way, if your thinking on flaking you should know that the frog you bring will be half of your marks this semester" she said her voice full of venom while looking at the whole class.

"Since you all don't appreciate what your great school has done for you, the junior set can use the frogs that were given to you for their own experiment. Think about that next time you decide to interrupt my class for a groaning session".

I guess this woman really has a thing for biology because she looks like she's on the edge of fuming. It's quite a funny site.

Before another groaning session could commence he said that we could pair with anyone so that a group can bring one frog but we have to be three in number.

Before questions could begin, the bell rang and like an earthquake every one rushed for their lives out and asking if anyone wanted to be their partner.

"Hey, Jade will you work with me on the term paper as my partner?" Stacy said with that her smile and I had to say yes not like I would have said no either way.

"Okay cool but I have to get to my next class right now but your invited to sit with me and my crew at the cafeteria today".

Before I could answer her she ran off and I realised that I would be late if I didn't scram.

My remaining two classes finished uneventfully. I didn't speak to anyone or anything and it was boredom but not loneliness like in Seattle...

I went to the cafeteria and after collecting my food I spotted Stacy and her group and went over there.

I sat at the end of the table with Stacy with several of her friends.

"Hey Stacy, hi everyone", I greeted them after I sat down.

A chorus of hey's and hi's were thrown at me and then Stacy introduced the girls and a guy as Megan, Ciara, and Robin.

"Hey, Robin" I said with a smile as I noticed the first guy to talk to me here.
