After bidding a emotional goodbye to Isha and family karn moved forward in his journey to mahendragiri. it took him a month to reach there. upon climbing the mountain he saw a man meditating under a tree. that man had an aura that attracted karn. he went near him and sat without disturbing him. on finding a presence near him parashuram opened his eyes to see a child of nearly 10 years sitting and meditating. he closed his eyes to find out about him.when he got to know about karn he was shocked and angry at kunti . he also saw karn's upcoming life as well but he wanted to test him.
Parashuram opened his eyes and asked: who are you kid? why are you here.
Karn(folding hands): Pranipaat bhagwaan i am Radhey Karn. i am here to learn warfare from you lord.
Parashuram: why did you come here then, i only teach brahmans,are you one?
Karn: No lord, i am a sutputra.My father is a charioteer of your student bhism.
Parashuram: if you are from hastinapur why didn't you go to drona's ashram or asked bhism for help.
Karn(scoffs): your student Drona he insulted me and rejected me for my caste and bhism, he ordered my father to send me away from hastinapur.
parashuram: So you want to learn warefare so that you can take revenge of our insult?
Karn: bhagwaan if i'd want to take revenge of my insult then all my life i'll have to do that only because i have been insulted uncountable times. no lord i don't want any revenge i just want to learn because iam interested in it , i want to become an warrior. Also i want to show people that birth doesnot detemines your caste.
Parashuram: well i am impressed son but i cannot teach you, there is somebody who is destined to be your teacher.
Karn: who lord?
Parashuram: I'll tell you but before that you need to know something else. but lets talk about it tommorrow. you take rest now.
Karn agreed and went towards the hut where he met devi Dharani, who instantly bonded with him considering him as a son,later karn told both of them about his life,family,and his jouney and also of gokul.Though parashuram knew about him still he felt bad. he also felt that the girl Isha is special to karn. karn also told them that he is adopted by his parents(radha and adhirath told him about his adoption story before he left hastinapur)
Next day karn woke up and went for his puja.parashuram saw this and smiled.Karn always had a soft spot for suryanarayan. after that he met parashuram and greeted him.
Karn: Lord may i know who will be my teacher?
Parashuram: yes son but before that tell me one thing. do you wanna know about your biological parents?
Karn:(smiles sadly): they doesnot matter to me anymore. for me radhama and adhirath pitashree are my parents. nand baba,maiyya, you and mata dharini are parent figures to me. my biological parents abandoned me in ganga as if i ama sin for them. the bamboo basket was my pyre.
parashuram: no son,not your parents but your mother. your father loves you but cannot come to you due to some reasons.
Karn: then who is my father ?
A voice: i am your father son.
a bright light covered the area and a figure emerged out of it.
the person: pranipaat bhagwaan.
Parashuram: pranipaat suryadev.
Karn was shocked to know that his aradhya suryadev was his father.
Karn( sluttering and with tears): y-you are my father . how?
suryadev sighed and started narrating
Flashback:
a 13- year old pritha or kunti adopted daughter of the king of kuntibhoj was happily roaming near the river side with her sakhi cum maid priyamvada. she was very happy because she successfully served rishi durvasa who was impressed by her gave here a mantra which could be summomed to call a dev to attain a son from them.but he strictly warned her not to use it before marriage. when she told this to her maid she didnot trust her. to prove herself she used the manra and summoned suryadev.
suryadev: why did you call me kunti, rishi durvasa warned you not to use it before marriage right? now you need to accept my son.
Kunti: i am sorry suryadev, i just wanted to show it to my friend. you can go back i will call you after my marriage.
suryadev: i can't go without giving you a child kunti. ( he raised his hand and a child formed in kunti's hand having suryadev's radiance and kavach and kundals) he will be known as karn.
saying so suryadev dissappeared leaving a devastrated kunti and shocked priyamvada.
kunti: no no i cannot accept this child.he is a mistake. i am born to be a queen, he cannot come in my way.
priyamvada: yes kunti this child is a sin. lets thrown him in the water.
kunti agreed and put him in a bamboo basket and left him in the ganga without even feeding him.
Suryadev who saw this got angry : kunti how dare you do this to my son. i curse you that you will not be able to have a happy married life, when your sons will come to know about this they will hate you and you maid i curse you will never be able to have a child.
saying this suryadev went away and requested ganga to give him to a deserving couple. ganga agreed and tok the basket towards hastinapur and it was found by adhirath and radha, a childless couple, adopted him
Flashback ends.
(suryadev didnot tell kunti's name as it was her secret to tell. he just told him that she is a princess who is now a queen)
karn and suryadev had a emotional reunion.
Suryadev: now allow us bhagwan to go.
Parashuram agreed.karn bid farewell to him and dharini and went with suryadev.
