Parte cinco: jealousy

Vegas began packing his bag
He didn't care what he really packed he just wanted to spend time with Diego.
He slung his bag over his shoulder and walked to the front room where Diego was sitting on the couch.
Diego:"you ready?"
Vegas:"yeah man,let's go!"
They walked out the door and made their way down the street.
The weather was cool.
It had been hit the past few days but today was perfect.
Vegas looked at Diego with a small glint of hope in his eyes.
Diego had saved him.
After all that had happened he was still willing to help him.
Vegas held back tears,thinking about Diego made him emotional.
Diego:"hey man,you okay?"
Vegas wiped his eyes and smiled
Vegas:"oh,yeah I'm fine"
Diego knew he wasn't actually okay.
Of course that made Diego mad,he wanted to know what was wrong with Vegas.
Diego:"okay..we'll let's go to the park so my mom can pick us up."
Vegas nodded and and followed behind Diego.
The breeze blew Diego's hair out of his face.
Vegas blushes, he had never seen Diego like this before.
Even though they've known each other for a while he's never seen Diego this...perfect.

They made it to the park around 2:30
No one was there because everyone was at school at that time.
They had the park all to themselves.
Vegas couldn't believe how perfect the day was going.
It was unbelievable.
Diego looked at vegas and smiled.
Diego:"imma go skate."
Vegas:"me too."
They made their way to the skating area, vegas couldn't help but stare at Diego.
Why was he feeling like this?
Diego started to skate around,he did kick flips and ollies and pop shoveits.
Vegas was amazed at how good he was at skating, he scoffed and started to skate too.
Vegas was a very competitive person, so naturally he wanted to show off.
Vegas:"betcha can't do this!"
Vegas did some really complicated trick and Diego laughed.
They skated so much and got caught up in their activities that they lost track of time.
By then, school was already over and more people were coming to the park.
One of those people  being roel.
Diego noticed roel walking to the skate area and his mood immediately changed.
Vegas noticed Diego staring at someone and looked where he was looking.
Roel waved at vegas and ran to him.
Vegas smiled,Diego was not thrilled about roels presence.
He didn't run to roel or vegas he just stood and watched.
Roel:"why weren't you at school today dawg?!"
Vegas:"sorry bro I over slept."
Roel playfully pushed vegas and ran to where Diego was.
Vegas followed behind.
Roel:"Hey Diego! What's poppin!"
Roel held up his fist and waited for Diego to fist bump him.
Diego:"..."
Diego ignored roel and walked over to vegas.
Roel was embarrassed but brushed it off, he walked to vegas and Diego.
When he got closer he realized Diego was whispering something to vegas.
He was nervous that Diego might be talking about him but he didn't think nothing of it.
Diego glared at roel and walked to the bathrooms.
Once Diego was far enough away roel looked at vegas and scoffed.
Roel:"what's his damage?"
Vegas:"oh..uh..he's having a bad day. Let's just forget about it."
