The next morning I got up, got changed, and headed to the Great Hall. I woke up earlier- so I was one of the first there. Luckily, the Pink Demon (me and Hermione gave Umbridge that nickname) wasn't there.

I sat, ate my breakfast, and drank my hot chocolate as I read Little Women (Hermione had given it to me as a gift).

I heard a few people chattering as they walked in- all looking sleep deprived. They reached for large cups of black coffee, smiling as they took a sip. I smiled- finding it nice.

"Alone huh?" a voice I knew too well said, as I looked up at Lorenzo, "Finally without your brother."

"I'm not always with Harry y'know," I told him, as I shut my book.

He smiled, "I've noticed you've changed from last year."

"What do you mean change?" I asked him.

"You became nicer, sweeter," he shrugged, and smirked, "Prettier."

I rolled my eyes, "Funny jokes Lorenzo."

"Enzo," he told me, "Please call me Enzo."

I tilted my head at him, "What is this game? I'd rather you not play it with me."

"No games," he said, "Just trying to be nice."

"You hate me- don't you?" I questioned him, "You've hated Harry for years."

"But is that you?" he said back, as he walked off towards Draco.

I sat there- first off confused on what just happened, and secondly; did he flirt with me? Why would Lorenzo Berkshire flirt with me? Out of all the girls- I was chosen somehow.

Hermione came strolling in, as she sat next to me, smiling and cheerful.

"Good morning," she said happily, "Isn't it wonderful?"

"I know right? I met Lana Del Ray, smoked with her- the perfect morning right?" I said sarcastically, "How are you this happy?"

"I just love learning," Hermione told me, "Where my happiness comes from."

I smiled, "I guess- my happiness comes from music, Quidditch, and actually having fun."

"You're so smart Haven don't let anything get in your way," Hermione said, "Let me switch you back to reality- school first, everything else second."

"Even you?" I said, pursing my lips.

She looked at me, "I obviously am your top priority."

"And I better be yours," I said, looking at my schedule, "It's Friday today- so we already have study hall for our first periods."

Hermione looked at the schedule, "3 hours in the library? That's amazing!"

"That's something I'll back you up on," I told her, "Lunch is straight after, then muggle studies, and a free period."

"I love how school starts at 9:00 here," Hermione smiled, "Remember in muggle schools when it started at like 7:30?"

I sighed, "I hated it so much!"

"I know," Hermione laughed.

Me and Hermione left breakfast- not bothering to wait for Harry and Ron (they slept until 8:30 on first days). Both of us grabbed our things and walked down to the library.

"Whats on the wall?" I said, as we entered through the library.

A white sheet of paper was marked in bold letters- the words SIGN UP! were a bright red. Under it said:
