I woke up covered in the blanket, and Lorenzo gone. I dragged my hand across the bedside table until I finally got to my phone- it was 2 AM in the morning. I shook my head as I rubbed my eyes, looking around the dark room. I turned my head to the balcony, where I saw Lorenzo standing with something in his mouth and smoke blowing over the railing. I got out of bed, using the wall as support to hold myself up so I didn't fall asleep. I opened the door, as Lorenzo turned around- frightened and worried.
"Are you okay?" he asked, "I didn't mean to wake you up."
I looked at him, rubbing my eyes, "You smoke?"
"Only when I'm stressed," he said, as he leaned against the railing, "Which is quite a lot."
I yawned, "Enzo, you shouldn't do that."
"I only used to do it when people were around- I swear," he explained, as he put it out, "And then over last year I did it when I got stressed- and it might have turned into a bad habit."
"A very bad habit," I scolded him, "What are you stressed about anyways?"
Enzo sighed, "Draco's caught on."
"What?" I knitted my eyebrows together, "I thought he was clueless about the whole thing."
Enzo shook his head, "He said someone told him that he's seen us hanging out and laughing. Then he told me, 'why are you always away? Are you with her?' Merlin did I want to punch him."
"That's why you went over to his?" I questioned, "And he told you that?"
"Yep," Enzo nodded, "Don't even know why- I denied it. If he knows he'll tell Lucius, and Lucius won't be happy with me."
"What about Narcissia?" I asked.
"Oh she'll be fine with it," he told me, "She likes you anyways- says you're a good one."
"Really?" I raised my eyebrows.
He nodded, "Yes- now get inside, you'll catch a cold out here."
"Most likely," I shivered, as the cold air hit my skin, "But we need to talk about this smoking issue."
"I know," Enzo said, as we walked back inside, "I don't know how to stop."
I put out my hand, "Give them to me."
"What?" Enzo said, confused.
I nodded, "I want all of it- the lighter, the boxes, whatever it is hand it over."
"It's in that drawer over there," he nodded towards a small cabinet near the TV, "All of it's there."
I went over and opened it, to find box after box after box. I stared at him, "How many did you bring?"
"Enough to last Draco a few days," he nodded, "He's a lot worse than I am let me tell you that."
I shook my head, grabbing everything and shoving them in my bag, "If I find this in your hands or near your things- you are dead."
"Yes ma'am," he nodded, as he pulled his hair pack, "You need to sleep- get back into bed."
"Thank Merlin you said that," I told him, jumping back in, "Have you even slept?" Enzo shook his head, and I noticed how dark the bags under his eye's had gotten, "Enzo you need to sleep."
"I can't," he told me, "It's hard."
"Well I'm here," I said, patting the empty spot next to me, "Sit- I'll wait until you fall asleep."
Enzo laughed, "I doubt that." He climbed into the bed, pulling the blanket over himself as I hugged him, "You'll be asleep in 10 minutes."
"Correct," I said, as I lay my head on his chest. I could feel him rest his chin on my head, as he stroked my arm back and forth, "Goodnight Enzo."
"Goodnight," he murmured, as I saw his close right before mine did the same.

I woke up early the next morning, rubbing my eyes. Lorenzo's arm was wrapped around me, and I'd been leaned into his chest the whole time. I looked up to see him just reading, carefully flipping the pages of his book.
"You're up," he smiled, "I read your Queens Gambit book."
"Really?"
He smirked at me, "Took 2 hours."
"What time is it?" I asked, quickly getting up.
Enzo looked at his silver watch, "6 AM."
"Oh Merlin," I said, rubbing my eyes and throwing the sheets over my head. I mumbled to Enzo, "You barely slept."
"And that's why coffee was made," he reminded me, "I slept 4 hours- I'll last."
I rolled my eyes, pushing the blankets off of me, "You're insane."
"And you still decided to deal with it," he smirked, running his fingers through his messy hair, "Now if you'll excuse me- I've got to go and get dressed and meet Draco Malfoy."
I rolled my eyes again, "Draco Malfoy."
"I'm also not the biggest fan of him right now," he sighed, "I'll deal with it though."
He went into the bathroom with his clothes as I got changed. I put on long sleeve red top with lace under- one that Elena Gilbert would wear. I put on jeans and black converse, as Enzo came out of the bathroom. He wore a brown knitted sweater with a brown belt, jeans, and a pair of white sneakers.
"I need coffee," he announced, "And now."
I nodded, "Agreed- but we can't go together."
"Staying 6 feet apart at all times," he nodded, "Like the book."
"Except we're not dying from cancer," I said back, grabbing my backpack, "Instead our friends just despise each other with their whole hearts."
"Great way to start a romance story," Enzo smiled, as I kissed his cheek.
I tied my hair into a bun, "Now- no staring at me a lot, no making faces, no smiling at me, just try not to socialize with me unless it's needed- okay?"
"But that's so hard," he complained, wrapping me into one of his bear hugs, "I love making faces at you- makes you smile."
I hugged him back, "I know. But, unless you want Draco and my brother to find out-"
"6 feet apart it is," he said, letting go, "I can deal with it."
"I promise I'll tell him," I told Enzo, "Soon."
Enzo smiled, "I hope you do."
