Personality: He cares deeply for his friends, mainly his besties Suga and Daichi, but also the lowerclassman like Tanaka and Nishinoya so he can set an example for them. Also he sees Kageyama like a younger brother. Not to mention, he loves playing volleyball and tries his best to play hard, but also have a good time. Romeo is the big brother of the gang, so he can give good advice, be a strong willed person, but can be angrier than Daichi, Tanaka, and Suga combined, especially when quarrels happen and he has to step in. To his family, he is very loving towards them, despite his younger brother being a bit of a joker and his sister in the same school as him.
Fun Facts -He was a teacher for Tobio Kageyama, and although Kageyama showed more potential than himself, Romi beat Tobio more often than not.
-His role is the Ace and a Wing Spiker. Although he was sometimes the setter, that was for emergencies.
-Romio is half American hence the name Romio sounding like Romeo. His mother is an American with French descent and his father is fully Japanese.
-He plays volleyball and tries to work hard due to his insecurity of being called a hafu, which surprisingly, doesn't make him get angry, but makes him feel sad. Tanaka and others do the raging for him when someone calls Romio a hafu.
-He's the eldest son in the family of 5, 3 siblings including himself, his little sister, his little brother, and his mom and dad.
-He is attracted to Kiyoko like the rest of the team, but ironically, he doesn't lust for her like the team and gets to know her rather than obsess over her, but still is flustered whenever around her sometimes.
-Romio's name has the kanji for road (路 Ro), fruit or truth (実 mi), and center (央 o). Since he's half American, his name sounds like Romeo. And Hoshiko has the kanji for star (星 Hoshi), and child (子 Ko). This fits his character a lot. He's usually the sensible and is a star in volleyball.
-Only a couple can calm Romio down. His sister, Daichi, Suga, and Kiyoko.
-Romio does extremely well in school but works hard in Volleyball too, which causes him to get a bit tired sometimes.
-Romio loves music and has a playlist with music whenever on a trip, and the only thing that can make him more angrier than unneeded fights is someone taking away his music player. So most of the team just taps him on the shoulder when he listens to music.
-He has a nickname in Romi by the gang but on occasion is called just Hoshi.
-While Daichi is seen like the dad, Suga is the mom, he'd be the eldest brother.
