Chat Noir, who initially sought to protect Marinette from Luka's bullying, will now face a new challenge.

"Why did you put him in detention when you knew he asked to tutor me?"

"I did it to protect you," Chat Noir replied, looking at her with seriousness. Marinette couldn't help but ask, "Are you sure that's the real reason?" She softened her tone, admiring him.

Chat Noir let out a heavy sigh, the weight of his actions pressing on him. "There's really no excuse. I'm not making any excuses. Please stop. I need to go now, and you should too," he said, gently shooing her away.

"Are you sure that's really your excuse? Or is it because you're in love with me already?" Marinette teased with a playful smile.

"Me, in love with you? Oh, please. That will never happen," Chat Noir scoffed, attempting to maintain his composure, though a faint blush graced his cheeks. "Maybe you're the one who's in love with me?"

"I'm not... I would never like a man that is older than me," Marinette replied with a hint of amusement.

"Exactly. A teacher shouldn't have any relationships with any minors, especially its students. And right now, we shouldn't be seen together," Chat Noir explained, casting a cautious glance around.

"And why not?" Marinette inquired, leaning in closer to him.

"Because people might suspect me of having a relationship with a new student. You know what kind of people are around here, always spreading false rumors, especially Lila," Chat Noir replied with a sigh.

"I don't want my last name to get ruined, especially if my father found out. I don't want him to get mad," he admitted, his voice tinged with worry.

"Oh... But who's Lila?" Marinette asked, her curiosity piqued. However, Chat Noir pushed her away when he spotted Kagami approaching on the stairway, engaged in conversation with some teachers.

"Go now. She's here," Chat Noir urged Marinette. She slowly walked away, casting a curious glance back at him. She noticed Kagami and Alya in the vicinity, observing the situation with keen interest.

She cannot see Alya's face properly due from a long distance but she could feel she's smirking at them as she gave them a satisfied look. She let out a groan and slowly approached her friend.

Approaching Alya, Marinette couldn't help but be distracted by Kagami's striking beauty as she passed. She marveled at the teacher's elegance and attractiveness, understanding why Chat Noir had chosen to date her. Kagami was undoubtedly captivating, so captivating...

"Hot, isn't she?" Alya remarked, breaking Marinette's trance.

"Yeah... Who is she?" Marinette asked, captivated by Kagami's presence.

"Ms. Tsurugi. Mr. Noir's girlfriend. It's her first year teaching students. I heard she's a very strict teacher, same for Mr. Noir," Alya explained.

"Oh my gosh, really? Mr. Noir is strict? And he has a girlfriend?!" Marinette exclaimed in surprise. Forgetting that it was the same female teacher earlier who she bumped into.
