[Then scene fades into the wintery lands of Lark Creek, then fades later to winter time of Lark Creek High School at morning time. Jess and Leslie are decorating the cafeteria for the Christmas party. Calvin enters the scene.]

Calvin: Is it almost done, Leslie?

Leslie: Yeah, sure.

Calvin: So, they did announce the last day of school before winter break.

Jess: They did. 

Leslie: All of us would like to come, Calvin. Even you and Kelly. [helps Jess tie one more knot on the decorator, revealing 'Christmas Dance Party'.] There. All finished. What do you think?

Calvin: It looks very good. Even you got all the red and green balloons ready. And of course, some garlands.

Leslie: We sure did.

Jess: We also got our foods and sweets ready, so anyone can have some.

Ms. Edmunds: [enters the scene with Kelly] Well, lookie here. It looks like everything is ready for their holiday party event.

Kelly: Hi, Calvin.

Calvin: Hey, Kelly, what's up?

Jess: Glad you came here, Ms. Edmunds. It's like me and Leslie did some a lot of work on decorating. We did a nice job.

Kelly: Glad you did some teamwork on it.

Leslie: Kelly, what do you think?

Kelly: I love it. So magic like holidays.

Jess: Yeah. Looks like it.

Ms. Edmunds: Okay. Let's get on with making some drink.

Calvin: Where were you?

Kelly: Just went out for a drive with Ms. Edmunds to see the lights decorated. It's beautiful, isn't it?

Calvin: Yeah. Listen, we got a surprise for this Christmas party.

Kelly: And what is that?

Calvin: The evergreen lights, like we imagine those as magic. Back in Terabithia.

[Sarah enters the scene, sees the cafeteria decorated.]

Sarah: Whoa. I'm gonna love this.

Calvin: What do you think, Sarah?

Sarah: Absolutely good, Calvin. I sure hope Lance is gonna see this.

Conrad: [off-screen] Anderson.

[He and Nigel enters the scene.]

Calvin: What is it, Conrad?

Conrad: You know where we can find the disco ball for the ceiling? David Beckham Wannabe and I can reach to hang it.

Calvin: It's in the storage room.

Nigel: Okay. Come on, Miller.

[Nigel and Conrad leaves the scene to head for the storage room. Calvin and Kelly then head to see Caitlyn working on her laptop. She is finding some good match for the dance party.]

Calvin: Doing okay, Caitlyn?

Caitlyn: Yeah. Lassie just invited me to be here.

Calvin: That's good, then.
