I watched as the sky darkened up above. My teeth were chattering and I could barely walk. Lighting struck and I saw my hands as a pale blob. Soon, the darkness overwhelmed me and my hands began to lose their shape. I observed as they grew smaller and smaller, until they seemed to dissolve into mist. My hands were no longer visible. I glanced up at the sky and was shocked to see a huge void of darkness and chaos swirling towards me.
I closed my eyes and murmered "This is it, Gaby. This is it." I embraced myself to get swept up into the massive, life threatening void and vanish, but at that instant I felt a jittery feeling inside my head and the gears in my brain began to work. The massive void was making fun of me, looming overtop of me, but it would soon be sorry for thinking I was so clueless. I knew one thing for sure, it had to be a blackhole.
A blackhole is a great amount of matter packed into a really small area, with the result of a powerful gravitational field. In fact, not even light can escape a black hole, but if light can't escape, then why did I expect to be able to leave the frightening void? I could already feel the force from the blackhole pulling me in. My only hope was that the ancient myths were true. If the blackhole really did bring me back to a mysterious time period, way before 2015, I had a chance. If I could travel to the past and find the same blackhole, except in a different time zone, I could purposefully get sucked into it and get back out in the current time period, 2015. It would be kind of like a portal, except I would have to get through the other end at the right moment, so I wasn't sucked through again. After pondering for a few minutes, it was all I could think of, so I embraced myself and grimaced as I allowed the blackhole to pull me into another world.
