Song suggestion:  Arctic Monkeys - Do I wanna know?

Very short chapter but thank you to those who are reading this book, it means the world to me!

Anyways, on with the chapter...!

Grayson's POV

Movie night was way more fun than I had first expected it to be.

I mean, the movies they had picked, were interesting, of sorts, but it hadn't mattered, because I was solely focusing on the pretty guy drifting off to sleep by the side of me. We had gotten halfway into the third movie before he had dozed off and let sleep take a hold of him.

Was he drooling? I smirked.

I discreetly pulled out my phone and took a photo. That would come in handy for later use... I decided.

It was only until Nick broke the silence did I realise I was staring.

When he was asleep, he was actually kinda cute. Not that he wasn't cute normally, but his features were somewhat softer, more delicate looking. The frown that he usually adorned was no longer there, and instead replaced with a somewhat sleepy, peaceful smile.

"Look at them. They've all fallen asleep." He chuckled quietly.

I scanned the living room to see that everyone, apart from me and Nick, had fallen asleep soundly. May had one leg on her chair, the rest of her drooped on the floor, her mouth wide open as she snored loudly, and then there was Jackson, head resting on Nick's shoulder. There seemed to be a twinkle in his eyes as he looked at Jackson's sleeping form, wrapping the blanket around him more securely as to keep him warm.

A few minutes passed and I begrudgingly decided that it would be best if I headed home. We were meant to study after a couple of movies but we had gotten carried away.

"Thanks for inviting me. But I should get going now, it's getting late."

Nick looked at me in thought, before making his decision and speaking up. "You could stay the night, unless you have somewhere to be tomorrow?"

I blinked. I didn't have anything planned tomorrow, but where would I sleep? And I didn't have a spare change of clothes.

"We have a guest bedroom you can sleep in." He says, as if reading my mind.

"I don't want to intrude... But if you're willing then I'm fine with it."

It couldn't hurt.

A meaningful look passed his face, "You could never intrude. If it wasn't for you then... You know." He cast a glance to the boy sleeping by the side of him and smiled grimly.

Jackson wouldn't be here...

However, that's a story for another time.

"You're apart of the family now, whether you like it or not." His smile was full of warmth.

I smiled back at him.

"Do you think Donovan knows?" I cast a quick look to the sleeping boy next to me.

"Jackson hasn't told anyone, which is understandable considering what he went through" He said frowning. "I'm so glad that you were there... If something had happe-"

I cut him off quickly, "But nothing did, and he's safe and sound now." I sighed empathetically.

He nodded, relief flooding him as he watched Jackson sleep peacefully.

If I ever had someone to look at me like he does with Jackson, then I'd never have it in me to let that person go.

Never.
