Chapter 3

*Violets POV*
"Hey baby" Dylan says while opening the door for me and bringing me into a hug.
"Heyyy" I reply, a little uneasy and I think he noticed.
"Are you okay Violet?"
"Huh? Yeah I'm great thanks." I just couldn't get Shawn out of my head, the way he looked so disappointed when I told him.
"So what movie do you want to watch?" He said while pulling me into the living room and onto the sofa.
"Let's watch Finding Nemo" I giggled.
" you're so cute you know that?" He said leaning suddenly. I leaned back slightly, signalling I didn't want to kiss him.
"Oh." He sighed sitting back up. " I should've have know."
"You should've known what?" I said confusion showing in my voice.
"You like Shawn! Don't even try and deny it Violet because we both know it's true. He obviously likes you back anyway." I was partly shocked, partly denial and partly thrilled that he thought Shawn liked me.
"Don't be ridiculous Dylan, I have had a crush on you since we was 12!" I said waving my hands around a little bit. I didn't even know if what I was saying was true. It doesn't matter anyway, Shawn is on tour and sees thousand of girls everyday. He wouldn't like me, not ME. I'm Violet Parker and Shawn would never be interested in someone like me, especially because I'm his bestfriend.
"Yeah maybe you did but your feelings are clearly stronger for Shawn. Listen Vi, we are both going to get hurt here so we might as well just end it here. That way we won't be in to deep before we realise it was a mistake." He sighed.
"Wait so you're... you're breaking up with me?"
"Yeah, I guess so. I'm sorry Violet, it's for the best. We can still be friends though?" Was this really going to happen. I had liked Dylan for so long and now that's all been thrown out of the window just because he thinks I have feelings for Shawn. Maybe I do?
"Yeah I would like that, I should get going." I gave him a weak smile while standing up and he walked me to the door.
"See you in Spanish." He waved.
"Yeah, see you later." I said walking to my car and hopping it. I drove to Arabella's house as fast as I possibly could without going over the limit. Arabella was my best girl friend. Although I have Shawn, you always need a girl friend too and she was the best. I rung the door bell and Mrs Espinosa opened it. Did I mention she was Matt Espinosa's sister?
"Hi Violet, Arabella's in her room." she smiled brightly at me.
"Hey, thanks." I said running up the stairs and knocking on her door.
"Come in" she chimed. I swung the door open and she looked up at me from her laptop. "Vi?"
"We have a problem." I say shutting the door and walking over to sit next to her.
