Chapter 6

"Shawn... I think, I think I like you."I was lost for words. "That was the real reason Dylan and I broke up. I went to his house and he just straight up said to me that he thinks I like you and he didn't want to get in the way bu-" I cut her off by passionately kissing her.

"That was a good way to shut me up." She giggled

"Stop rambling Vi. I like you too, and not in a friend way either. I am in love with you." I feel defeated in the sense that she was the one who confessed her feelings first, I should have shown more courage. Damn it Shawn.

"I guess Dylan was right then." She started to lean in again and I kissed her.

"So what are we?" I asked and she let out a sigh.

"I don't know Shawn, but you haven't even asked me!"

"Oh yeah right" I paused for a moment or two.

"Violet, will you be my girlfriend?" I asked hopefully.

"Nope." She said popping the p.

"What? Why?" I said feeling hurt that she rejected me.

"Well I don't want you to ask me when I bring it up Shawn, duhhh." She said waving her hands around a bit.

"Hmm, well I am picking you up at 9am tomorrow morning." I smiled and winked at her. She just nodded in reply looking down at her fingers. She didn't even question it, that isn't like her at all.

"Is there something you're not telling me Vi?" I asked her while lifting her chin so she was looking at me.

"No no, its fine. Its nothing." She gave a weak smile and looked back down.

"Its not nothing if its upsetting you." She shuffle round and laid back onto her bed, letting out a sigh.

"Its, its just the fans Shawn. What will they say? I don't want to get hated on. I wont be able to handle it and you know me, I wont tell anyone and then I will bottle all up. I don't want to go through depression again Shawn." I could see her eyes were teary so I laid down next to her and wrapped my arms around her as she moved closed into my chest.

"Listen Vi, you are looking too deeply into it. They all ready love you because you have been here since forever and you have supported me throughout it all. You make me happy Violet and they love you for that. You won't get depressed again not with me around this time." I said while kissing her forehead.

"Thats the problem Shawn." She sat up and sighed. "Last time you wasn't there. With the tour and everything who knows when you will be around."

"Violet don't say things like that." I said while taking her hand into my grip. She her hand away with a sigh.

"But Shawn, you know its true."
