lover to enemy au
"You didn't just betray my trust. You destroyed my heart"
__________
You sat by the window, staring out at the setting sun. Thinking about your boyfriend, Johhny Suh always made her heart beat faster, his every word and touch sending shivers down her spine. Their love felt like a dream, too perfect to be real.
Just then, the door opened, and Johnny stepped in, his usual confident smile on his face. "Hey, beautiful," he greeted, walking over to her.
Your face lit up. "Johnny, you're here. I was just thinking about you."
He chuckled, sitting beside you and taking your hand. "Thinking good things, I hope."
"Always," You replied, leaning in to kiss him. But Johnny pulled back slightly, his expression suddenly serious. "we need to talk," he said, his tone devoid of the warmth it usually held.
your heart skipped a beat. "What's wrong?"
Johnny took a deep breath, looking into your eyes. "I've been keeping something from you. And I think it's time you knew the truth." Your brow furrowed in confusion.
"What are you talking about?"
"Your father and mine... they're enemies," Johnny confessed, his voice cold and detached. "I got close to you to find out his weaknesses."
The words hit you like a punch to the gut. Pulled your hand away, standing up abruptly. "What? No... you're lying."
"I'm not lying," Johnny said, standing as well. "It was all an act. Every touch, every kiss... it was all to get information."
Tears welled up in your eyes as the betrayal sunk in. "How could you do this to me? I thought you loved me."
Johnny's face twisted in a cruel smirk. "Love? It was never about love, Y/N. You were just a pawn."
The room spun around as you tried to process his words. "I trusted you," you whispered, voice breaking.
"And that was your mistake," Johnny replied harshly. "Your father's lack of security, his blind spots... you told me everything I needed to know."
Your tears turned to anger. "You used me..." i whispered. "
A part of you still wanting him to apologize and begging for forgiveness. Stupid of me, you thoughts.
Johnny shrugged, his expression indifferent. "It was all part of the plan. And now, I've got what I need."
As he turned to leave, your mind raced. The love you felt for him twisted into a burning hatred. You couldn't let him get away with this.
"Johnny," you called, your voice steady despite the storm inside.
He paused at the door, looking back with a raised eyebrow. "What is it?"
"You won't get away with this," you said, eyes narrowing. "I swear, you will pay for what you've done."
Johnny laughed, a cold, mocking sound. "I'd like to see you try."
With that, he walked out, leaving you standing there, heart shattered into pieces. As the tears dried on your cheeks, you made a vow. That you would make him regret.
You spent the next few days in a haze, piecing together your plan. You dug into your father's files, gathering information. The pain of Johnny's betrayal fueled your determination. You knew what you want to do.
One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, you found yourself outside Johnny's house. Your heart pounded with a mix of fear and resolve. You had come prepared, a small, concealed knife in your pocket.
Slipping inside, you moved silently through the house, your mind focused on the task ahead. You found Johnny in his study, looking over some documents. He glanced up, surprise flickering in his eyes as he saw you.
"Y/N? What are you doing here?" he asked, standing up.
You stepped forward, hand gripping the knife tightly. "You betrayed me, Johnny. And now, you'll pay for it."
Before he could react, you lunged at him, the knife aimed at his chest. But Johnny was quick, grabbing your wrist and twisting it painfully, forcing you to drop the weapon.
"You're crazy," he spat, pushing your back. "You think you can just walk in here and kill me?"
You glared at him, your eyes blazing with hatred. "You deserve it for what you did to me, to my family."
Johnny laughed again, a bitter, empty sound. "You're just as foolish as your father. You can't win this."
With a swift movement, Johnny disarmed your hands completely, pushing you to the floor. He loomed over you, his face a mask of contempt.
"You never stood a chance, Y/N," he said coldly. "And now, you're nothing to me."
As he turned and walked away, you lay on the floor, the weight of her failure crashing down on her. She had lost everything—her love, her trust, and now, her chance for revenge. All that remained was the bitter taste of betrayal and the unending pain of a broken heart.
The heart is broken, but more broken when you know someone that you adores so much is betray you.
