New universe. Hero's Duty was never plugged in but Ralph still wanted a medal so he went game hopping until he eventually tried Sugar Rush because the winner of the race get a shiny coin which he thought might count as a medal. He and Vanellope still became friends because she knew about how to enter the race and helped him build a candy car in the candy factory.

Felix had to look for Ralph by himself and ended up in the Fungeon however once Ralph's car had broken apart he couldn't race so Vanellope agreed to race on his behalf since she really wanted to anyway. That didn't sit well with king candy who after some driving shenanigans ended up plummeting into the unfinished volcano level because his car went out of control.

Felix was trapped in the Fungeon with a new candy racer whose code had been messed with when Turbo took over the game. She had been one of the top racers and a member of the candy court. Her name was Sprinkle Nutcluster but she hated her name so she wanted everyone to refer to her as (y/n). Although people still mistakenly call her Sprinkle from time to time.

-story-

Turbo drove into the volcano and dropped Ralph out on the ground near the cola lava. He had jumped out on the race track because Turbo was cheating and was trying to run Vanellope off the road. Things had gotten wildly out of hand but thankfully nobody was harmed. Except for Turbo who died temporarily.

As Vanellope crossed the finish line the game reset and everything that had been altered was reworked.

-earlier-

Felix was trapped in the dungeon in a state of a mess because he was so mad at Ralph for abandoning his game when they needed him. "I give up." he huffs, throwing his hat on the ground. "It's game over?! Ralph went Turbo and everything was destroyed and our game is out of order?!"

"You sound like you're in an awful mess." a voice says from across the way from the front of the cell.

"Who's there?" Felix asks looking past the bars.

"Sprinkle Nutcluster." you reply back. "But you can just call me. (y/n)" you reply.

Felix sighs, knocking his head against the bars. "Well at least I'm not alone."

"What are you in for?" you ask looking through your bars at the upset individual. A short guy in overalls with a little golden hammer.

"I'm Fix it Felix junior from the game Fix it Felix Junior. Ma'am." he mumbles. You could tell he was exhausted. "I'm here because I got turned around looking for my college Ralph." He glances up for a moment. "I don't suppose you know how to get out of here?"

You shrug. "If I did I wouldn't be here would I?" you smirk a bit because this guy is kind of funny and really cute. "But since we are both here, why don't you tell me your story? What's your game about?"

Felix nods. "Alright." he takes a deep breath. "Ralph wrecks the building and I fix it."

"That's it?" you question.

He nods. "Yup." he replies sitting down on the floor by the bars. "Well I guess it doesn't matter now. It's all going to be destroyed in a few hours." He sighs looking so defeated. "All of this over a slice of cake... I should have just invited him to the party."

"Party?" you ask. "What party?"

"The 30th anniversary of our game." Felix says. "The nice landers threw me a party for being the hero. I get a shiny medal and Ralph gets thrown off the building into the mud."

"Wait... are you two not friends?" you question.

Felix shrugs. "I mean we work together. There was never a problem until today. Ralph was talking nonsense about wanting a medal because nobody appreciated him." he sighs again. "But if I can't get him back to the game before opening tomorrow our game will shut down forever." he tells you the whole story.

You frowned slightly. "So what you're saying is he asked you to acknowledge his part in the game and your response to that was to tell him he didn't belong in the penthouse? At a party celebrating the game you're both in, a game that you can't have without him in it?" you scoff and turn away. "Well I think I'd be pretty mad too. Guess you deserve to be in the dungeon."

Felix frowned slightly. "If only it hadn't taken me this long to realize it." he turns slightly. "Why are you locked up?"

You shrug. "I opposed the new ruler." you reply. "He isn't really king. He isn't even from this game." you slide down the bars to sit on the floor of your cell. "I used to be important here but now I'm just forgotten. Nobody remembers me or they don't care I guess."

Felix could actually see you now as you sat there near the bars. "I'm sorry that happened." After a moment he turns around and actually looks at you. "I would never forget you," he says.

You turn to look at him kind of scowling. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Just that you're pretty and I wouldn't easily forget someone so pretty." He says with a smile.

You smile a little looking at the floor. "You're a horrible flirt." you chuckle.

Felix laughs. "Sorry. I guess now probably isn't the best time."

You nod slightly. "No it isn't, but nonetheless I appreciate it."

Later

The game resets and the dungeon area shimmers and the bars disappear.

"What was that?" Felix questions standing up and putting his hat back on.

"Finally." you say standing up quickly. "Vanellope von schweetz must have finally raced again. The game is reset and that means everything will go back to how it was before it was altered."

You shimmer for a moment as your clothing goes from being dungeon rags and broken candy bits to repairing itself back to its original state. "Oh that's much better."

Felix just stares at you for a moment. "You look amazing!?" he says motioning towards you.

You blush slightly. "You're too kind." you start walking towards the exit. "Come on this way. I'll walk you to the race track. I bet you'll find your missing friend there."

"Alright let's go." Felix smiles and follows after you.

As you predicted the race track was packed with people all flocking around Vanellope who was now the rediscovered missing princess. Ralph was making his way over to her holding his arm because he'd managed to injure himself fighting off Turbo.

Felix runs from your side over to Ralph and the two talk to each other. You see Ralph smile slightly and the two shake hands. You know they've made up and set their differences aside.

"Dude! You are not going to believe this. King Candy was actually Turbo?!" Ralph explains the entire story.

But this isn't the end. It's simply the beginning.
