You and Felix make your way down to the large race track. The game was working again and players were able to play again but the arcade was closed now.

Down at the track the racers were doing their normal preparations for the nightly race to determine the roster for the following day.

Vanellope rushed over to enter herself into the race.

Felix smiles a bit. "Are you going to enter?"

You shrug. "I could but I don't really want to."

Nearby king candy makes an appearance looking a bit lost.

You nod towards him. "Hey look who's here?"

You and Felix go over to him.

He looks a bit apprehensive at first. "Don't hit my face." He says taking a step back.

"I wasn't going to hit you." You reply.

He stops and stares at the two of you. "But... I was such a jerk before. I probably deserve to be slapped at least." He says.

"You were but I think I understand why." You place a hand on his shoulder which confuses both Felix and king candy. "You've never really felt like you belonged here because your whole identity was a lie. I'm sure you can tell but I've fixed your code. Made you a real candy racer."

"You... you did?" He questions. "Why would you do that for me?"

You nod slightly. "Don't make me regret it." You chuckle holding up a gold coin. "Enter the race. You know you want to."

"You're really too kind." He mumbles.

"We'll talk after the race." You say to him.

He nods and scurries away to enter the race.

You smirk. "He'll be alright."

"Can I ask why you're helping him after everything he did?" Felix questions.

"If anything I suppose I understand what it's like to not feel like you belong somewhere. Even though this is my world, it's always been a passion of mine to explore other places. Racing is in my code but... everything is in my heart." You explain. "I want to leave this place and see what else is out there."

Felix nods slightly. "So you want to leave the arcade?" He questions. "But what about your game?"

"This game will be fine without me." You say watching the racers line up. "They have each other."

"What about me?" He asks a bit more solemnly.

You turn towards him. "You left your game today to come help us try to win back control here. You can decide to do the same thing. You can leave your game."

He thinks about this for a while. "But if I'm not fix it Felix then... what am I?"

"Felix." You reply. "But that's up to you."

"I need to talk to Ralph about this." He replies in deep thought. "If I did leave my game where would we go?"

You shrug. "Everywhere." You reply. "Every game, every world, everything. There is so much out there to see."

He nods. "Gosh that sounds like so much though."

You nod. "I understand. If you don't want to go with me."

"Don't misunderstand me." He says with a slight nod. "While it does sound fun I do want to be with you. I just don't know if the others will be ok if I leave."

You and Felix walk to the Fix it Felix machine.

Inside the nice landers are all outside having a party with Ralph in attendance.

"Hey! There you are!" Ralph says smiling with cake all over his face. "We saw that Sugar Rush was back up and running."

"You're having cake without me?" Felix chuckles.

"Oh this was for Gean." Ralph says. "He was a trooper today even though I made him miserable." He laughs. The two leave the group so they can talk. "How'd it go over there?"

Felix nods slightly. "Oh it went fine. We had almost no trouble at all." He nods slightly, putting his hands in his pockets. "So you guys were fine without me? No problems at all?"

"No, why?" Ralph questions.

Felix nods. "So if I left for a while you would probably be ok?"

Ralph frowns slightly. "Are you going to leave?"

Felix nods slightly and looks at you. "She asked me to run away with her."

"Are you going turbo?" Ralph teases.

Felix chuckles slightly. "Yea I might. I'm still not sure."

"You like her don't you?" Ralph says.

"I really do." He mumbles. "That's why I'm so torn. I want to go with her but... this is my game." He looks up at the building. "I fix the building. It's my job."

Ralph nods. "You don't have to stay here. The nice landers can take care of your job." He says. "Me, I'm the bad guy. The game doesn't exist without me. But you... you can be anybody Felix. You don't have to stay."

Felix smiles lightly. "You're right. I don't have to be Fix it Felix. I can just be... Felix." He nods. "I'm going to tell Gean."

"He isn't going to like it." Ralph laughs.

Felix nods. "Yea but he'll get over it."

The two walk over to Gean who is smirking smugly. "There you are Felix. I hope you were able to help out with the candy cart game."

"I'm leaving." Felix says.

"Leaving? Like to tappers or??" Gean questions.

"No like leaving the arcade." Felix says. "You guys don't need me here and we want to see the world." He looks over at you again. "You did great in my absence I'm sure you'll be fine without me."

Gean takes Felix's hat off of his own head. "But... I'm not felix."

"Isn't that kind of the point?" Felix says. "Anyone can be Felix."

Gean frowns. "But... we'll miss you."

Felix nods. "It's not goodbye forever. Just for a long while. You will be a fine fixer in my absence."

Gean nods. "Are you sure Felix?"

He nods. "I've never been more sure of anything in my whole life."

Gean looks at the hammer. "Do you want this back then?"

"You need it for the game." He says. "I'll get a new one." He turns towards the building. "Besides there's something I need to do first."

You watch as Felix heads to the building. What was he up to? You followed him.

He enters the building and goes to the basement where he opens a breaker box and reaches inside.

A few moments of rifling later he pulls out a hat and a golden hammer.

"What's that for?" You ask.

Felix nods with a slight grin while he puts his hat back on. "Well I need to complete my uniform. I just copied the hat and hammer so one will stay here with them and one will go with me."

You nod in understanding. "Alright. You want to stay for the party?"

He shrugs. "Not really. I've had enough parties."

You nod. "Alright let's go then."

He nods.

On your way out you realize you have this giant donut hat thing. And you really hated that stupid thing so you yanked it off and threw it at the surge protector guy.

You both run off into the internet and find a whole bunch of exciting new things to try. And you have a great time and after exploring for years you retire to Dreamlight Valley where you relax with Disney people forever, build your own house, and happily ever after.
