"The only thing I wish was different..." Cadence began. "Well, I shouldn't say such things."
Lucius smiled and brushed some hair out of her face. "If anyone can make your dreams come true, it's me, darling. Please tell me."
"...I wish we could have a child," Cadence said, sighing softly. "That's the only thing I want."
"I can create a child based off both of us," Lucius said, smiling and kissing her head. "All you had to do was ask."
Cadence gasped, smiling brightly. "Really?! Aww, Luc!"
She hugged him tightly. Lucius smiled softly and hugged back.
After a moment, he pulled away and took her hand. "Give me a moment."
He closed his eyes and concentrated. Cadence smiled and waited excitedly. After a few minutes, a baby boy appeared in Cadence's arms. Lucius let go of her hand and ran a hand through his hair, glancing down at the baby.
Cadence smiled, holding him closely. "Aww! Luc, he's perfect. Thank you." She kissed him quickly then glanced down at the baby. "Tell me if you don't like the idea, but I thought we could name him Ian? I've thought about names maybe a bit too much..."
"Sure. With the middle name Lucius?" Lucius added.
Cadence smiled. "Of course! That's perfect. Ian Lucius Legendari-Dare. Welcome to the world, sweet boy."
Ian babbled and tugged on her hair.
Cadence laughed. "I love him already. I can't wait to see who you turn out to be, but I'll value the journey to get there just as much as the destination."
