It was a dark and humid out in your dystopian world , the static sounds coming off of the guards and soldiers standing post in the streets scattered all around. The loud barking and snarling coming from the k9's that accompanied the soldiers and guards around. Yelling from people all over bustling in the busy streets. You were a young 15 year old girl , you were one of the many from the same class.poor. There were three social classes that were confined within these city walls, poor , middle class and rich. You hated how the poor were treated like animals and low life's , hell actual animals got treated better than people in your class. Middle class people got to live a pretty decent life and the rich had gotten access to everything available. When you had money you could get anything you pleased. No one was allowed outside the city walls. You were caged in.

As you had been inside that city no one was allowed outside but high ranking officers. You didn't know what was truly out there but you heard that there was a disease that was killing people at a quick a rapid rate. Once you caught it you only had two days to live. The diereses mutated and caused mass fall in death and the population was decreasing at a rapid pace causing people to get chased into confinement.
The walls were built and everyone had been stuck there for years. No one was allowed out , not to mention the bands you had to wear to identify your social class to see if you were allowed in certain places such as stores and other shops.there was also the fact you had a curfew , people weren't allowed outside after 9:00. You didn't really run with curfew.
You thought it was bullshit but this was the way of the world now. You were homeless sadly.

You didn't have enough money to care for yourself properly and you didn't have enough to be able to get yourself a place. You lost your mother due to the pandemic that had hit not too long ago. Few years ago. You loved her more than anything and for the world to take her away from you made you have a butter taste in your mouth and most of all , your heart. Your father on the other hand was no where to be seen. He was always in your life no matter what , he was a soldier. Your mother had broke the news to you one day saying he had to be deployed for a mission. After that day you never saw or heard from him again.
It wasn't confirmed that he was dead and you had some sort of hope of finding him again one day but you only had a faint glimpse of what he looked like. It had been so long since you've ever seen him so you can't get a good picture of what he would look like.

Life wasn't the greatest but you knew you had to make the most of it while you lived but the mindset you held was one only many could hold.

Kill or Survive.

You were constantly on gaurd and staying alert , there were many sleepless nights and too many to count. You struggled to find places to sleep but when You did you still didn't feel comfortable enough to sleep fully. The screams and shots rang out. You never knew what peace was , only violence and fear.
You wore a pair of sweatpants with a hoodie along with a backpack on you and you walked quickly through the streets filled with. Officers and gaurds. your heart raced as you tried to look for a spot that might've been suitable for the night but there was no luck. You tried to stay hidden in the shadows but the further you went there was no luck. Soldiers and other officers were doing patrols , the lights from their ruffles scanning the areas as they made sure no one was in sight.
As you hear one of the soldiers passing you quickly hide behind a nearby dumpster staying as quiet as you could. The smell wreaked of garbage and waste , causing you to let out a gag as you tried to cover your nose. You crouched and peaked your head out as you saw them passing through , looking around for civilians like you.You kept your hood up trying to stay low and as you thought the cost was clear you felt someone grab your shoulder harshly.

The coast wasn't clear and you thoughts weren't as well but now you were in a rude awakening hell.
