I walked into Pizza Express with a few friends, my sister and my embarrassing parents. We sat down at a table behind a group of loud people, yelling and laughing. There was a boy on his phone, opposite me. He had jet black hair and sapphire eyes, as well as snakebites. We ordered a few pizzas, but I couldn't take my gaze off him, my friend had realised, "You like him?"
I laughed, "No."
Another of my friends joined in, "Then you know him?"
I looked back at them, wishing I did know him, "Nope, I don't."
He looked like the kind of person to take you on wild adventures and let you ride shotgun in their car as you drive through a wild place like Florida. The kind of mysterious badass that you'd fall in love with just by looking into their eyes; that's exactly who he is.We finished eating and dad paid. I heard my friends giggling to my sister, "She won't stop staring at that boy. She says she doesn't know him." I closed my eyes; no, I won't stop staring at him because he makes me wonder how someone can look like they're an angel sent from heaven.
My sister stared at him and whispered loudly, "Emo!"
Shit... She's so embarrassing. I try to be normal, either my sister or my parents ruin it. Hopefully, he won't turn around and ask why we happened to be yelling emo or staring at him. He did turn around, but he just smiled, "Siblings are so annoying. I have two older brothers."
I sat there, in silence; wait, he's talking to me; "I'm sorry about her... She's a bit crazy, you know."
"It's okay."
Then, the woman next to him said, "Liam, we have to go. Come on."
He smiled back at me, "Hey, sorry, I'll see you soon sometime?"
I looked at him, half annoyed that he was leaving, but half relieved that he'd go so I wouldn't blush as much, "Yeh, sure..."
With that, he left.I got home, nonstop thinking about when I'd next see him. When this mystery boy with charming blue eyes would appear in my life again. How is it possible that I've fell in love with someone I've only just met. my heart pounded in my chest and there were voices in my head; You won't see him again, he's not interested in you, look before you fall. What if. What if I do see him again, what if he is interested in a girl obsessed with quotes and books, what if I've already fell so many times that I'll just pick myself up?
