It was seven in the morning. I was getting ready for an important event you might say.. But what I really meant was..

The Hunter Exam..

When I got finished getting ready, I went out the door, and ran. While I was running, I saw a strange blonde guy with... red eyes? No! That's impossible! It's extremely rare to have red eyes! But, he killed a spider.. It looked like it was nothing.. "CRAP!! THE EXAM!!" I yelled. Then, I kept running. Since I was really fast I knew I would catch up. It's not like I would see him again anyway..

I was getting my daily dose of coffee at the usual place I would get it.. Then one of the staff members screamed as if they saw something extremely horrifying. Then, I saw it... A black widow spider.. I grabbed my forked and stabbed it over and over.

My vision was tinted red..

After all of that, I saw a young girl. She looked like she was the same age as me. She had brown hair and a magenta ombre at the bottom, had green eyes, and she had black horns and a black tail? Who would have horns and a tail? No bother.. She was beautiful..What was it?

It was.. love at first sight.. Wasn't it? But it's not like I would see her again anyway..

After I got my coffee, I got to the boat just in time. "Right on time.." I said. But then...

I saw him.. That blonde boy.. But, why would HE want to become a hunter? It's dangerous. It's scary. I wonder why..

5:00 P.M

I was taking a rest on one of the hammocks when I overheard a conversation.

"Why do you three want to become hunters?" I heard. Then, I heard a young boy's voice. "So that I could find my dad!" he said happily. I turned over to the other side of the hammock and heard an man in a tuxedo say, "So that I could get money!" What a selfish reason. Being a hunter is important.. And he was becoming one to become rich.. Selfish indeed.. But then, I heard the blond guy.. his voice.. was beautiful.. "My reason to be a hunter is quite personal. Therefore, I will not tell you." The captain then said, "Come on. You don't want to be kicked off this boat.."

"Fine.."

His reason is quite sad.. I'll tell you that.

"The Kurta Clan.. was massacred by the Phantom Troupe.. My goal is to become a blacklist hunter to avenge my clan and capture the Phantom Troupe.."

I felt bad.. really bad. I wanted to comfort him. But, he didn't know me at all. I didn't want to make him uncomfortable and awkward around me. So I kept my mouth shut.

Later, the blonde boy was reading on another hammock. But, I heard...

"Thunder..." the young boy said.

"A storm is coming.."
