I went through the gate and was now inside the school complex, a few people were outside but not too many.

They all looked weird, but what to expect? This is a school for freaks after all.

"Yo man."

A guy with messy hair, wearing sunglasses, called out from the side as he approached me with a smooth walk.

"You're the new guy?"

Y/N: You guys already know about me?

"Most of us do, yeah. Name's Tyler by the way."

He introduced himself, reaching out to shake my hand.

Y/N: Y/N.

I responded, shaking his hand and making him smirk.

"Firm handshake, tough guy over here."

Y/N: Just a normal dude, nothing special.

"That's what they all say, but we both know that ain't true."

Y/N: How do you know?

"I can see if people are special or not, and you my guy, are special."

Y/N: Trying to collect some sympathy points?

"Hell nah, why would I need that?"

Y/N: Maybe you'll need my help someday.

"You need me as much as I need you."

Y/N: Really? And why's that?

"Oh man, we'll do a lot of things together, that's all I can tell you for now."

Y/N: Are you one of the popular kids here?

"Nah, but we will be."

Y/N: I don't wanna be one.

"That's what you say now, wait a few weeks and you'll have an entirely different opinion about all this."

Y/N: Whatever you say.

"Oh, look there."

He said pointing at a blonde woman approaching us.

Y/N: Who's that?

"The principal, you better make a good first impression on her."

He advised before walking off.

"Hello there. You must be the newcomer."

She greeted me with a sweet voice.

Y/N: Hi, yeah, I'm Y/N.

"Oh, I know, Y/N. I'm the principal of this school, Mrs. Weems."

Y/N: Pleasant to meet you, Mrs. Weems.

"Likewise. Now, how about we go up to my office to discuss everything?"

Y/N: After you.

Two minutes later we were sitting in her office, which was very clean and tidy.

Y/N: Nice office you got here, doesn't really fit the school, just like you, but still pretty nice.

"Why do you think I don't fit the school?"

Y/N: I mean it's a school for freaks and outcasts, I expected the principal to be...creepier, I guess.

"Oh trust me, the people here are very social, warm and welcoming. There are no freaks here."

Y/N: Just people with supernatural powers.

"One could say that."

She answered with a nervous chuckle.

Y/N: Anything in particular that I have to pay attention to?
