The city bathed in a brilliant glow of gold and red. The boat on the Ganges swayed with the water. He sat, looking at the setting sun on the horizon. The breeze had turned cooler. He could feel his otherwise well combed hair become unkempt. The sound of the river had always calmed him, but today he was unsettled.
