"WELCOME TO BLANK SPACE."
Sunny, a raven jet-black haired boy had woken up in his dream as himself. Though he find that he wasn't alone, his usual colorful friends were a bit...different today.
First was his older sister, Mari. She was wearing a long white dress, a very familiar one. Sunny was caught off guard, surprised to find himself back in his dreamscape. Mari still had long black hair, and a calm expression.
Second, Basil. The boy whom Sunny knew as his best friend, but Basil had a ton of bruises on himself. Bandages and other things were on Basil as Sunny felt concerned. Basil wore a tan colored jacket and a green shirt underneath. Blue jeans and black shoes.
The third person Sunny saw, Aubrey. She had long pink hair. Vibrant blue teal-colored eyes. Long white bunny ears as she held a large plushy that looked like a eggplant. She wore a plain black crop top along with a long yellow jean skirt. A yellow bow tie on one of her bunny ears as she looked toward Sunny. Sunny felt himself feeling a bit nervous, but he looked at the next person.
Kel, known as a cheerful and good friend. Or what Sunny knew of, the Kel here looked much more clueless and cheerful. More childish and looking like the kid version of Kel Sunny had known in the past. Sunny was confused, yet he was still trying to process everything as everyone was asking questions. Before another person showed up
A person, in a doctor uniform. The familiar brown hair, but the black mist covered the man's face. A blue sweater with a tiny white deer symbol. Long dark blue pants and brown shoes. Sunny could already tell who it was, Hero.
The first person to interact with Sunny was Mari, who walked over with a emotionless and neutral expression that didn't smile nor react to anything. It reminded Sunny of Omori, which made him a bit more nervous as he couldn't stop shaking.
"Sunny?" Mari said his name, Sunny felt scared, guilt, regret. He thought he was already over these things, but he was dearly wrong. Full of complex emotions, he could only look at the ground to not meet anyone's gaze.
"M-Mari, it's...nice to see you again." Sunny said nervously, Basil walked toward Sunny with a bit of a hesitant expression.
"Sunny, you are...Sunny right?" Basil asked, looking worried as Sunny nodded slowly. Mari only watched the two of them talk, curious about things as Hero came over.
"Why are you all here? You all look...so different..." Hero mentioned gloomily, his face still covered by a black mist.
"What do you mean?" Kel asked with a grin, sounding very cheerful which felt quite wrong in the current situation as multiple eyes were filled with caution.
"It's..." Hero began to say, sounding very...sad. Basil seemed to be pondering about something, Sunny observed the group as he took a moment to collect his thoughts as he sat down.
"Tap."
Sunny flinched, looking over to the right. He saw Aubrey, it wasn't his Aubrey though. Her teal eyes gazed into his as she smiled shyly which made Sunny's heart skip a beat. Sunny waved at her to which she did the same.
"I think I know what's going on..." Basil said suddenly, with a very concerned expression that also symbolized confusion.
