3rd Person POV
Despite the smiles and laughter of the others, no one noticed the fiery glare Alexander directed at Suhana. He tightened his grip on the glass in his hand and breathed heavily, seething with bitterness as he watched her contentedly giggling. Suddenly, the sound of shattering glass drew everyone's attention to Alexander, and the dining hall fell silent. Realizing that all eyes were on him, Alexander chuckled and said,
-"I'm so clumsy sometimes. My apologies. Please have your breakfast and continue your conversations. I'll be right back after cleaning this up."
-"Are you alright, son?" asked Suhana's father.
-"Yes, I'm absolutely fine, uncle. It's nothing," replied Alexander.
-"But you are bleeding!" gasped Suhana's mother.
-"Oh, It's just a small cut. Don't worry about it, please. I'll go and have it cleaned up," Alexander replied, standing up from his seat.
On his way out of the dining hall, he stopped midway and smilingly asked,
-"Can I borrow Suhana for a moment? I need to talk to her about Sarah. There are some things I need to know about her before Suhana leaves, and I forget to ask about them,"
-"Sure, son, no need to take our permission for this. She's still your employee," replied Suhana's father with a chuckle.
Saying this, her father told her to follow Alexander, unaware of where he was leading his daughter. Suhana followed Alexander out of the hall, her heart racing at the thought of being alone with him even for a moment.
Despite her fear, she managed to keep herself calm and reminded herself that this would be the last time she would ever talk to him. She felt relieved that she would finally be free from his grasp starting from today. She was willing to endure a few more moments of conversation with him in exchange for this newfound freedom.
Alexander took the stairs to the 2nd floor, confusing Suhana on her path. She wondered why he was going that way when he could go to one of the nearby washrooms to clean up his wound and talk to her later in the lobby or living room.
She knew their conversation about Sarah wouldn't last long as he almost knew Sarah's daily routine. She stopped at the end of the stairs and contemplated whether to follow him. Hesitating to walk, Suhana wanted to tell Alexander she didn't want to go forward and that they should talk there.
-"Keep walking." declared Alexander in his cold voice, as if he could see Suhana standing there without even looking at her.
Not wanting to prolong the situation anymore, Suhana took a deep breath, walked up the stairs, and followed him. She kept reminding herself that this was it. This was the last time she had to talk to him, and she would do it for her freedom. The thought of being out of his capture was giving her the courage. She also didn't want Alexander to change his mind because of any of her actions. So she decided to listen to him for the last time.
Soon, Suhana found herself standing in front of Alexander's bedroom, a place she dreaded to enter. Alexander opened the door and walked inside, aware of Suhana still standing in the hallway. This raised his irritation and restlessness, and he turned to face her. His eyebrows came down together, and his eyes were burning with madness. His hands formed fists again, causing blood to drip on the floor from his wounded palm.
Suhana watched his bloodied hand with panic, her humane nature telling her to help him stop the bleeding immediately. But she knew better. If it were someone else, she would have run to help that person. But it was Alexander. The incident at the library was not gone from her mind. She knew how cunning he was and how she could be trapped again if she stepped into the room. She only stood there in silence, looking at her fidgeting hands.
