Chapter 38: Rescue Part 1 " Hurt"

Author note: Just a disclaimer that these chapters are gonna be long ones, and that this will be an arc. I mean, we gotta save our boy! Anyway, read away...

Mikey was moaning and groaning in a separate room on the bed with Lili by his side. Mikey was sweating rapidly and his temperature was high from his sudden outburst. Lili was holding his hand, taken back and frustrated on not doing anything until the doctor came.

Mikey rolled to his side, grinding his teeth from the pain with his eyes closed. Lili placed her hand on his head, feeling a burning hot sensation. Mikey suddenly hugged her waist for comfort, Lili was surprised, then gently hugged him back.

" You're gonna be ok Mikey. You're gonna ok. I won't let anything happen to you. And I'm sorry for leaving you by yourself. You're gonna be alright, I promise." Lili promised by whispering in his ear.

The door flung open and it was Raisa and her girls, and the doctor in the middle. The doctor stepped in front of the girls that were giving impatient looks of annoyance.

" Step aside Miss Lili, let me take a look at him." The doctor advised. Lili got up from her chair, unwrapping Mikey's arms carefully for the doctor to sit. The doctor opened his bag full of supplies and did his check up. He opened his eyelids and mouth and used a small flashlight to check inside, he was checking his wounds as well. The doctor was honestly making barely an effort to fix Mikey.

After a couple of minutes, the doctor stood up and went towards the the group. " It seems that he was shot with a poisonous bullet. His wounds is playing a part of it as well. It causes the symptoms he has now, plus dizzy spells... The poison passes with well rest and healthy nutrition."

" Thats it? Is there any medicines that he can take right now. Pain reliever pills or something? He suffering." Lili pressed for more info. " Thats all I can do Miss Lili. Sterling's orders. Now, I must be on my way. Please excuse me." The doctor said before he left the room.

" That was a waste of time. When Manjiro wakes up, bring him to my—" Raisa said before she was cut off by Lili. " NO! He is in this state because of all you cruel b*tches! He's needs rest after what his body as been through, so f*ck off!!"

" How dare you speak to us that way. You need to stay in your place you wh*re. Or do you want to be punished some more?!" Raisa exclaimed. Raisa and Lili were bickering and arguing with each other, until an unexpected face showed up in the room. His light skin with his brown suit and glasses. " Please ladies stop with the f*cking arguing. It's getting on my nerves." The girls stopped and were and looked at the man.

" What are you doing here Kisaki? Aren't you supposed to be sunbathing somewhere?" Raisa sneered. The girls snickered and giggled, annoying Kisaki and making Lili confused.

" Anyway, I came here to see Mikey. Girls, get out! You must have forgotten we need him to lure his friends here and open the shipments. How the f*ck are we supposed to do that if he's f*cking dead?!" Kisaki shouted. The girls tightened their jaws and stayed quiet, their silence admitting that he's right, but also by looking down on their strength, making them angry. They stepped toward the door and walked out of the room.

" Watch how you speak to me next time. It won't be pretty." Raisa said coldly and lethally, gazing at both Lili and Kisaki. Kisaki rolled his eyes and took a deep breath and finally sat down on the chair next to Mikey. Mikey was still whimpering from his pain, laying on his side and breathing heavy.
