chapter 3

(A/n: hey pplz, my apologies for not updat Iing as fast as before due to exams.😭).

Jennie's pov:

After jisoo left with her sister, I turned towards Ruby who was just Admiring y/n's blood that was smeared all over her hands.

I fumed at the sight.

"Ruby, we need to talk", i said, feeling my blood boil.

"I don't have time to talk with you right now.",she said.

'jennie calm down, it's fine. Don't say anything bad.'

"You know, we could've gotten blood at home. Father would've got some for you if you were this desperate!" I said in a frustrated manner.

"Yeah yeah, whatever. Lets go home before they fing out that we went out without telling them" she said, umbothed about the issue that happened a few moments ago.

'she really can move on from things that quickly'

"Fine let's g", i said.

Timeskipped:

We got home right on time, which means dinner is almost done. Yay!

We ran up the staircase and headed towards our shared bedroom.

"Looks like you girls came back right on time" our mother said, more like shouting cuz she's still in the kitchen.

"Yeah, we just arrived now", Ruby shouted back, loud enough for her to hear.

"I suggest you girls come down, dinner is almost done"she said.

"Okay! " we said in unison.

I took a seat on my bed, remembering what happened early.

I started to feel nuaseated and uneasy about it. I walked over to my wardrobe and took out a pair of comfortable PJs.

I grabbed my towel from the towel hanger and went in the bathroom.

'A nice hot shower should help'

I settled the water to the temperature I wanted and got in.

The scene of y/n trapped in Ruby's grip kept on playing in my head.

I felt a huge wave of guilt washed over me, yet I wasn't at fault.

But there's something about her. (Oh yeah, like what?😂) shut up! You're making me feeli like this! You're the author! REMEMBER!! NOW GET OUT. (Oh yeah sorry😏)

Back to what I was saying-

There's just something about her and I know it! But I can't put my finger on it.

I have my head hanging low,while watching the water droplets that rushes down my body, leaving a soothing sensation.

I closed my eyes, letting the water run down my face as it slowly making this awful headache vanish into air.

When I was finally satisfy with showering, I wrapped my towel against my body and walked out, heading towards my bed.

When I came out to change, I saw Ruby wasn't there. She's probably down, helping mother with dinner.

I got dressed and went down.

"Look who's finally arrived", my dad said.

Their were half way done with dinner.

"What took you so long dear? Is it that boyfriend of yours? The one who's proposed to you for like 27 times and you said no to?", my mom asked.

Im confused on the topic she picked.

'Proposel? 27 times rejected? What the actual hell!!??'.

"Mother that was me. Not her. Her one is a gold digger", Ruby said.

"Oh, yes! Sorry about that honey. What was his name? Ah yes , his name was taehyung right?" , my mom corrected her mistake.

"Mom, I haven't seen taehyung in like a 24 hours ,so why would he be the reason for my late appearance?", I questioned back.

"I don't know dear, I just feel like there's something off about hi. But, if you're happy with him than Im happy. And I'm sure your father will agree with me, right?" She said looking at my father who looks really frustrated.

He does not like taehyung, because his my boyfriend. Which father will not like their daughter's bofriends, unless they really don't care about them.(true lol)

"Dad, relax. I don't even know if this relationship is even going to last very long." I said, noticing my father's reaction was a bit relieved after hearing that.

"So where did you girls go without saying a word to me or your father?", here we go, the topic that I've been trying to prevent, just had to be mentioned by my dear lovely mother.

Someone get me out of this mess!(I gotcha😂)

"We went out to suprise jisoo because she her little sister is coming but then we were caught up in some other things before we came back and we wanted to tell you but you and father looked really busy, so we didn't want to disturb you or father for that matter." Ruby said.

Ruby and I eye switched glances at each and then at our parents.

"And what were the' some other things' that y'all were caught up in?",our father asked.

Now we're dead.

We .....

Are.....

Dead......

Before I could say anything , my hands started to shake because of my nervousness.

"When we found jisoo, Ruby and her sister went missing. We got worried and went to look for them. When we found them, Ruby was on the verge of killing because she hasn't had any blood since last month and was desperate. She didn't know that she was her sister and then jisoo told to her stop and then their uncle came to pick them up." I inhaled, because I said all of that in breath and I don't think they heard a single thing except for mumbles.

Father burst out laughing and said "that my girl! Why didn't you complete the job?"

'is he for real right now?' (you don't say)

"Dad! That's my best friend's sister. How could she?", I said feeling all confused.

"Didn't you say that this jisoo friends of yours is a half vampire and half wolf?",my mother asked.

" yeah. That was the only reason why we're friends.", Ruby reasoned out.

"If she's half, then her sister might be full, so there's a reason for her to die", dad said.

'what the heck is his problem's

"Whatever, I'm  done here",  I changed the topic, not wanting to discuss about it and argue.

I woke up from my seat, went to kitchen sink, washed dishes and headed back to our room.

I felt a bit upset about the way  my parents were talking about y/n. I mean like yeah we're vampires but why is there a need to hate wolves.

I felt the anger that were rising in my Veins.
I hopped in my bed and pulled the covers over my head.

Before I shut eyes, my phone buzzed underneath my pillow.

I took out my phone and saw an unknown number messaged me.

'who could this be?" (Who do you think 😉)
