Classic Highschool Romance- or is it?

Part 1: First day back

She woke up and stared at the ceiling for a bit. What's today? It feels strangely important... only a few seconds later did she dart up out of bed, eyes wide and looking like one of those silly little clueless anime chibi characters. "SCHOOL! RIGHT!" She started panicking, and practically ran over to her closet, grabbing a pair of black jeans and a black hoodie with white details on it. She ran downstairs and grabbed her black backpack, which had almost neon light blue seams and details. "I'm heading out! First day back at highschool!"There was no point, her mom wasn't home yet, but she felt so excited saying it. After all, it's not everyday you have your first day in tenth grade, she was almost done highschool! Or so she thought, as she locked the door and skilled to school, filled with joy and excitement. As she walked to school she saw her crush since the start of ninth grade, Xiao. He brushed his fingers through his black hair, which was in a pretty fluffy short wolf cut and had pastel pink highlights. She was in love. She felt her cheeks warm as she continued to watch him, and she blushed even more when he looked at her and waved. She waved back, smiling warmly and then rapidly pulling out her phone, texting her best friend, Lillie. 'Lillie, guess what?!?!' She had written. 'What???' Lillie asked. 'XIAO WAVED AT ME!!!!!' She smiled as she continued texting Lillie, who was asking more questions every five seconds. We're so wonderfully weird... she thought to herself, holding her phone close to her chest and smiling as she walked up the hill, soon enough seeing her highschool come into sight. Something tells me... she looked at Xiao again, smiling as she saw him put earbuds in and close his eyes, listening to music probably. ...That this is going to be an awesome day!!!

Hello!!!! This chapter was just a little shorter as it was a bit more of a tester, to see how people would feel about it!
