Chapter 1 Tre

"Elizabeth?" "It's Duck" I replied annoyed.Elizabeth Daishawn Reyonlds.I'm so embarrassed about my name.It's not even my whole name that's the problem,its just my first name that's the problem.Elizabeth. Mama could've named me Talia,Samone,hell even Patty;anything but Elizabeth."Exuse me?"asked the substitute as she tips her glasses over her nose."According to the sheet your name is.."Elizabeth Daishawn Reyonlds,I mouth as she countinues with her big mouth.Tre,my best friend,turns around and starts shaking his head at me with that stupid smirk on his face."Shut up.."I say aggravated.Tre's 5"1,light-skinned,and has hazel eyes,plus he's been my friend since I was four and no matter where we at he always wanna play;besides that the bond is unbreakable."I didn't even say anything"says Tre smacking his teeth."Tre stop talking" I say loud enough for the substitute to hear.She looks up and Tre pretends he's doing work.After a while,he backs his desk up against mine knowing that he supposed to move up in a row.I try to kick his desk up,but he's leaning back real hard.So I get up and push his desk up just so it won't be all up in mine.Now I know he's doing this on purpose.I push his desk back up,but this time he puts up a fight and tries to stay in his spot more longer."Stop playin'"I muttered. I can see him smirking and at this point I don't care no more and I just storm back on my work.He turns around and stares at me.My eyes meet his and now I feel like punching him in the face.He starts to say something,but I interrupt him."Boy,you play too much.""Bruh, I'm gettin tired of you"."Shut up!"I sort of shout/whisper.I swear Tre plays too much.We've been best friends since we were four and now if he's in a playing mood.It usaually starts off with him always hittin me first.I hate that.Everybody says he me because he's always bothering me,but they don't know.Tre and I have almost been friends for ten years and I think I know when he likes a girl.With me,he just play too much and for some reason a lot of girls think that I'm a major threat.I mean I know Tre doesn't like me because with Tre its looks over personality.A really cute girl can walk into class right now and Tre wouldn't even hesistate to ask her out.But me? I don't see that happening and I bet neither does he.
