"Ma, I don't get why we're going  to California." Jaylyn complained. "Jay, you'll like it there. There's nice people there, my friend, Johnny, he's got a son your age." Elena smiled.

"Ma, I'm all do respect, I don't trust your judgment, sorry." Jaylyn shrugged. "Jaylyn, my love, you'll like it there, we'll meet Johnny and his son, you'll like him." Elena said.

Jaylyn  opened the door to their new house. "Okay, here's Johnny's address, let's get going." Elena stated.

Jaylyn hid her groan, following her mother. "Ma, do we have to? I mean. I just wanna cry myself to sleep and your making me meet some dorky old dude you were friends with thirty years ago. Ma." Jaylyn pointed out.

"Jaylyn. That dorky old dude is one of my favorite people, so, your gonna get you ass in the car, and we're gonna go see, Johnny." Elena said.

"Johnny? I get his sons name is something like, Robert or something." Jaylyn rolled her eyes. "It's Robby, just get in the car." Elena said.

"I was close!" Jaylyn yelled going to the car.

"My god. I thought you said he was rich? Like, this place looks like trash, literally, there's trash everywhere." Jaylyn put her hand over her nose. "Wait does he own this place? Oh that's cool!" Jaylyn smiled.

"No Jaylyn, he was rich in the eighties, he said he cut his step dad off." Elena said. "He cut his step dads head off? That's even cooler! I  wanna know how!" Jaylyn clapped.
