Christmas at Hogwarts After Y/N Got Saved

It had been an eventful night at Hogwarts, the night of the Christmas feast. Y/N had been saved from a basilisk by Ron Weasley and Harry Potter. 

After the battle, Y/N had been taken to the Hospital Wing and put under the care of Madam Pomfrey.

The next morning, Y/N awoke in the Hospital Wing feeling rejuvenated and almost as if nothing had happened. Y/N thanked Madam Pomfrey for managing such an effective recovery, before embracing her with a hug.

'Thank you so much,' Y/N said, feeling an immense sense of gratitude.

'It was my pleasure,' Madam Pomfrey replied warmly.

Y/N quickly realised that it was Christmas day and the whole school was celebrating. Y/N wondered whether she'd be able to join in the festivities.

Madam Pomfrey smiled at Y/N's eagerness, and told her that she was allowed to leave the Hospital Wing on the condition that she take it easy.

Y/N was so happy that she almost forgot her manners when she said, 'Thank you, Madam Pomfrey!'

Y/N quickly got dressed in her festive clothes and made her way to the Great Hall. When Y/N arrived, she was almost taken aback by the sight of the hall. It was adorned with festive decorations and it was as if Christmas had finally arrived.

The Hall was filled with laughter and cheers as everyone gathered to share in the Christmas spirit. Y/N blushed when she saw all the attention being given to her, as her friends and classmates began calling her a survivor .

Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger ran up to Y/N and congratulated her on a job well done.

'We couldn't have done it without you, you gave us all the information of where the chamber is' Harry said with a big smile on his face.

Ron and Hermione also shared in the praise, each of them giving Y/N a big hug.

It was at this moment that Y/N realised the importance of having good friends in her life.

After enjoying the Christmas feast, everyone began exchanging gifts. Y/N was overwhelmed by the generosity of her friends and new-found family.

Harry, Hermione, and Ron had gotten her a beautiful book about the history of magic, and Professor Dumbledore  gave 50 points each to the four.

Y/N was so touched by the gifts that she got a little choked up.

The entire day was filled with joy and festivity, and Y/N couldn't help but feel blessed for being surrounded by such amazing people.

That night, the students retired to their dorms, but not before they had spent the evening talking about their adventures and the events of the day.

Y/N was in her bed going over all the wonderful things that had happened that night when she heard a light knock on the door.

It was Harry Potter in his pyjamas.

'Merry Christmas, Y/N,' he said sweetly, handing her a present. 'I wanted to give you this before I went to bed.'

Y/N accepted the gift and opened it up with joy and anticipation. Inside was a heavenly smelling lemon-drop cake.

Y/N thanked Harry for the sweet treat, and the two discussed how much things had changed since the previous year.

Harry and Y/N thanked the stars and fellow classmates that had enabled them to experience such a magical day.

That night was indeed a very merry Christmas for Y/N and the rest of the Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
