It had been a long winter break. Only 2 days in and it felt like a lifetime. Winter. Betty didn't care much for the season all together. Too cold and unforgiving. As she walked through the hallway of the dorms (that were usually swarmed with students) it felt lifeless and cold. Her roommate was at their partners house and the rest of her friends were with their families celebrating the holidays. Betty decided that she would stay at the dorms over winter break to get some research done. Alongside that, she ask permission to use the library so she could read undisturbed to her hearts content.
