Y/N and Jamie arrived at the hospital. It's been a quite a few months since Y/N had seen her mom and sister.
Jamie was slightly a little nervous meeting Y/N's mom since he wanted to make a good impression.
They went to the front desk.
"Hi I'm here to see S/N (sister's name) S/L/N (sister's last name)."
"She'll be in room 111."
"Thank you." Y/N said before her and Jamie walked to the room.
Her mom looked a bit drowsy.
"Mom?" Y/N said.
"Oh, Y/N you made it." She said and hugged her daughter before noticing Jamie.
"You must be the Jamie I've been hearing about."
"Yes, indeed. Nice to meet you ma'am."
"Oh, that's not necessary. You can me M/N (mother's name)."
"It's to meet you M/N."
Y/N's mother smiled before turning her attention back to her oldest daughter.
"Is she doing any better?" Y/N asked.
"A little bit. It's just taking a little bit longer than expected."
"Yeah. Not to be rude mom but you look really tired. You can go home, get freshened up and rest. I can watch S/N."
"You sure?"
"Of course I am. We can catch up more later. I don't want up to be more tired and stressed than you already are."
Her mother smiled and kissed Y/N on the cheek before walking to the older child and leaned down and gave a lingering kiss on her forehead, "Please wake up soon." She said before pulling away and saying her goodbyes and then left.
"It's nice of you to offer to watch your sister and let you mom get some rest."
"Of course. I care about both of them."
Jamie smiled and kissed her on the cheek, "It's good to have a close relationship with your mom and sister."
Y/N smiled and nodded.
