"And why should we become an alliance? How do I know my daughter will be safe in the care of your son? Better yet, your kingdom." The king of the Wong family asked, having travelled from China—Bai sat across Unkow and Sarah, with his wife, Ming Yu.

Unkow paused, his eyebrows furrowed with his polite posture. "Well, I can assure you that Princess Ada will be secured under the care of my son. My son is responsible and a humble knight, he gets orders done, and he protects and serves. For becoming an alliance, I devote my true loyalty to the Wong family and vice-versa."

Bai took a breath, pressing his ringed hand toward the table and straightening up whilst Ming Yu simply fixed her long, black locks. "I see, we will have to think about it. I prioritise the safety of my daughter so do not raise any hopes, good day."

With the villagers gathered around the outside of the castle, Unkow stepped forward, his hair which used to be a dirty blonde had become grey over the past few years, wrinkles over his forehead but he kept his expression stoic.

He raised his hands, golden grown embedded in jewels resting upon his head, Leon standing a step off the alter wearing a dark blue doeskin embroidered in gold, his buttons up and collar wrapped around his neck, followed by some white pants and black boots.

"Thank you for gathering up today," he began, deep voice ringing through as people applauded before silencing down when Unkow went to talk again. "as you all may know, my time ruling as a monarch will soon be coming to an end."

He paused, hearing the faint sighs of people before his hand gestured toward Leon, who stood by his side, hands clutched and resting at his mid-section in a respectable stance, his posture neat. "Of course, my son will become king. It may be a hard adjustment... given that nobody can rule as I did, but with years running by so fast, I've decided to accept my fate."

With a final nod, Unkow stepped off the alter and glanced at Leon, who hesitated for a moment before stepping upon the alter.

Some women screamed in adoration, seeing Leon's handsome figure as his icy blues gazed through the crowd as if searching for someone.

Where is she? I need to see her.

He tried to talk, but the words simply wouldn't come out. The king's eyebrows furrowed at his son's silence, and his boot nudged Leon's one.

Leon ignored it, his eyes still scanning through everyone before they paused, he took a double-take before his body relaxed.

There she is.

"In all honesty," Leon began, taking a deep breath as a surge of confidence rushed through him when his eyes found the (brunette, blonde, etc.)'s, and he kept them locked on her.

"My only goal is to serve the kingdom and ensure that every citizen is receiving justice, health and hospitality. With the peerage that separates us, I only wish all of you can consider this your haven. Your home."
