4. Late Night

The day had been long and tiring for Chigiri. As he pushed open the door to their shared apartment, he couldn't help but feel relief wash over him. He was finally home, where you were waiting for him.

Chigiri's heart skipped a beat when he stepped into their cozy bedroom and saw you asleep on the bed, a book in hand. You must’ve fallen asleep while waiting for him.

Gently, Chigiri removed the book and placed it on the bedside table, his fingers lingering for a moment on your cheek. He couldn't resist the urge to brush a lock of hair away from your face.

As he settled back, Chigiri carefully shifted you into a more comfortable position, tucking you in and giving you a soft kiss on your forehead before making his way to the bathroom to take a shower.

The warm water washed away the fatigue from his body, and he couldn't help but smile at the thought of returning to the embrace of the person he loved.

When Chigiri emerged from the bathroom, he found you awake, seeing you sitting up on the bed rubbing your eyes. 

"Welcome home Hyo" You welcome him back with a tired voice, still groggy from just waking up.

Chigiri walks over to you with an apologetic smile "Sorry, didn't mean to wake you up, Love."

'It's fine Love it's late, let's just get some sleep. We both have a long day ahead of us tomorrow." You smiled at him as Chigiri joins you in bed, the both of you lying down and getting comfy underneath the covers.

Chigiri pulls you closer to him and wraps his arms around you, sighing in content. You leaned into his touch as he buried his face into the crook of your neck.

"Goodnight Hyo," You whispered, eyes growing heavy with sleep.

"Goodnight to you too my Love," Chigiri whispered back, smiling softly, closing his eyes and drifting off into a peaceful slumber.
