Chigiri Hyoma had always been a bit of a puzzle to his friends, and perhaps to himself as well. As a childhood friend of yours, he'd always been there for you, offering a listening ear, a helping hand, and a shoulder to lean on. You guys shared countless memories. But lately, there was something different about the way he felt, something he couldn't quite understand.
One day, as they were walking home from school, Chigiri sighed softly, causing you to look at him curiously. "Is something bothering you, Hyoma?"
He blinked, his cheeks tinged with a faint blush. "It's nothing, (Y/N). Just some thoughts."
That evening, Chigiri sat in his room, attempting to focus on his homework. Chigiri sighed softly, his pen hovering over the paper. Your face kept intruding into his thoughts, and he couldn't get you off his mind. He blinked, feeling a sudden warmth in his cheeks.
He couldn't understand why he was so flustered. This was you, his childhood friend. But every time you smiled at him or laughed at his jokes, it sent a strange warmth coursing through him, and it left him feeling conflicted.
He shook his head, trying to clear his mind, but it was proving to be a challenge. He's not thinking about you right now, or at least, he's trying not to. It's hard not to...
He feels confused and his homework is already giving him headaches, so there's no time for him to think about what he's feeling right now.
"I'm just overthinking things," Chigiri muttered to himself, trying to dismiss the tumultuous emotions swirling within him. He had known you for years, and they had always been close friends. Why was he suddenly feeling like this?
He sighed, rubbing his temples as the weight of his confusion pressed upon him. "I should just concentrate on my work," he told himself, trying to push you from his thoughts.
Even though he wasn't sure if you felt the same way, he couldn't help but smile when he thought about you. He sighs, he just can't stop thinking about your smile, your eyes, your hair... Everything about you. All of it was etched in his memory, and he couldn't get enough.
"I'm going crazy," Chigiri muttered, shaking his head in disbelief. He couldn't understand why he couldn't let go of this feeling. It was causing him to lose focus on his responsibilities, and it made him feel guilty.
But as he looked down at his books, his thoughts returned to you. He sighed again, resigning himself to the fact that you had become an important part of his life, whether he liked it or not.
As he sighed once more and returned to his homework. Chigiri was conflicted, unable to understand his own emotions. He wasn't sure if he was falling for you if this was just a fleeting phase. All he knew was that he couldn't stop thinking about her, and it was making his heart ache in a way he'd never experienced before.
Chigiri couldn't help but wonder if it was possible that he was falling in love with you after all.
