Charlie was Henry's daughter, he loved her, and he even made a security puppet to protect her.

Random kid 2: Hey Charlie follow me!
Charlie: Okay!
The kid guided her to the door, where he locked her out of the pizzeria while he goes. The puppet was locked , i mean it was in a box , it could with zero problem leave of the box, but the kids putted a box above it so it couldn't leave.
Charlie: hey please let me out!! It's raining please!!!
William , was driving drunk until he saw Charlie, he got out of the car and talked to Charlie.
Charlie: Oh hey Mr. Afton! Could u please help me get to the restaurant? Some kids locked me out..
William: Oh Charlie... Say goodbye!
Charlie: G-Goodbye? Wait that's a knife WAIT WHAT HEL-
Now she was dead, in the floor , William carried her where nobody could she her.. Well that was what he thought..
The puppet finally was free, it left the restaurant even if outside was raining, finally, it found Charlie , but she was dead.. Then it hugged Charlie while it went off..
Charlie's soul instead of going to heaven, it started possesing the puppet.
Later..
William: Gosh! That was really.. Satisfying! Should i do it more?...
